@ciara87777 hi lovely. Did you do the cheaper OPK with the same urine? They work differently to the clear blue - I always got a positive around 3pm/4pm or sometimes 8pm. So it could be that you got the static with clear blue this morning and your cheaper OPK would have been positive late last night ☺️ You can always test a little while later. Afternoon is best, don’t use FMU for the cheapies x

This is the exact reason I stopped using my clearblue monitor. My cheapie strips were never positive when the clearblue one was, even using the same urine in the afternoon. I did also find that I literally never got positives with the onestep strips though. I switched to the easy@home strips with the premom app and they're much better.

Hello thank you for replying!

Yes I used the same urine, but I forgot to mention I'm only cd9 so I don't know what to believe! I started testing early because my cycles vary. Unless the cheapie is going to be positive tonight or tomorrow? Who knows 😂 xx

CD9 seems early-ish, but it may not be if you have a shorter cycle ☺️ Static smiley = ovulation in 12-36 hours or something like that!! Defo test again with the cheapies if you can and avoid FMU as those ones don’t work with FMU! ☺️

I found my clear blue really good, annoyingly I can’t compare for you as I didn’t use my cheapies the month I did my clear blue ones! And this month I’ve done none 🥴 haha. Wishing you lots of luck and baby dust xx

I am shamelessly place marking to see what others say!

I am the opposite and have really long cycles. I finally started getting flashy smileys on cycle day 27, I am on day 31 and not had a static smiley yet 🙃

I think it's nice that I've finally started getting flashy smileys but I am not sure if I am pissing away money pardon the pun 😂😂

Well update: I kept testing and cd13 I got pretty much all positives on 2 clear blue digital ovulation tests and a cheapie one step one too. Glad I kept testing because the other positive was obviously a false alarm!
