Hey @MgW1 how are you? thanks for your message! Yeah I think we will keep trying DTD every other day and carry on testing for a few more days. Started having what I think is O pains this afternoon and increased CM. Xx

Im ok 😊 i think i did ovulate in the end but stopped testing. I think the evening primrose oil delayed ovulation. I think i ovulated 4 - 5 days late so do you know if AF will be late ? Sounds like a good plan to me 👍🏻 xx

Hi ladies, that yellow discharge I had the last couple days may just have been implantation. About an hour ago I felt really crampy and periody and felt something wet, I checked and I had light brown discharge. I am 8dpo and I ovulated early so my cycle is already shorter than normal at 25 ish days as opposed to the usual 27/28, so I'd be very surprised if it was my period coming 6 days early. I also don't get brown discharge before my period. Is it too soon to take a frer!!??

@MiniBaker I know how you feel. We've been trying since Jan, although came off my pill last Oct, so it feels like it's just never going to happen! We did get pregs in July which sadly miscarried but I weirdly took some comfort in the mc as thought at least SOMETHING happened!
With my son we got pregs 2nd or 3rd month of trying but had a failed implantation the month before too...so all very quick really! I didn't temp or use opks as feel I hadn't got to that stage of trying yet. Just tracked my periods and guessed at ovulation which apparently worked!
I really don't get much EWCM these days - I do wonder whether it's my age. I got a blob of it last night which was really gloopy like snot and stretched quite far. It wasn't clear though - more white/cloudy in colour. Otherwise I generally just get a bit more than normal but still not much, and consistency is just slippery rather than that stretchy x

@gracie2307 glad to be able to help. Acne is blimin horrible and I find it quite socially crippling when it flares badly. I try and keep things in perspective but it's very hard with massive painful lumps all over your face ☹️ TTC definitely makes it worse for me too. Ah well, there could be much worse things to have..and at least I can hide behind my mask (literally!) at the mo!
I'm doing ok apart from the skin though thanks. I feel like this next couple of months will be our time 🤞 How are you doing on this rainy Thursday??x

@Bluepolkadots42 thanks for that info. I definitely think it's ovulation pain. I had it last night too, and a bit this morning. And after doing an opk just before lunch, I think I've hit my peak 🙌🙌🙌 it's not darker than control line but almost as dark. Thank god for that. Was starting to worry i wasn't going to ovulate again this month. Based on no peak yesterday but peak today, it looks like my ov pain comes before ov rather than at the same time as 🤔 That's interesting to know.
Aww I feel for you with the late AF and BFN. It's so maddening. Last month I was 5days late. I tested quite a bit as am usually so regular but think things were a bit off post mc a couple of months previously. Are you usually very regular? In my experience, the bfp have been early. If by 12dpo it's a bfn, then for me I know I'm 99% likely out of the game, but I have heard of others taking much longer so you never know 🤷‍♀️🤞x

@Cienega no harm in trying! I got my last bfp at 10dpo and it was quite a strong line so could def happen at 9dpo in fmu 🤞🤞🤞

@sunflowers81 i think he must be, I keep telling him I won't be able to tell that fast but I took one anyway to appease him which was negative obvs. His response to that was that we need to practise more haha

@gracie2307 it's so hard when both OPK are saying different things isn't it. I'd keep testing as sometimes it then says your peak was x amount of days ago! So keep going. My clear blue went from a blank circle on Sunday to static smiley Monday, which means I didn't get high, I skipped straight to peak which was odd!

Hey all!! Just seeing the new bus 😅
Did SMEP and preseed for the first time this month, AF is due Saturday, and been having cramps yesterday and today.
Duno if that's a sure sign AF is coming or not!
Hoping for more BFPs for everyone regardless ❤️🎄

@Anonymous2345 could it be implantation bleeding and you ovulated earlier? I don't know I'm afraid but might be worth taking a test to see if you might be pregnant? Did you have a full bleed last period?

Thank you for sharing that - it’s great to know I’m not alone in the lack of / small amount of EWCM as online articles talk about it like every person has it and it should be really obvious. I just have in the back of my mind that because I was on the pill for so long my body has taken ages to get back to normal. I so wanted this to be a really natural thing, I had all my ducks in line and just didn’t expect it to take quite so many months. I don’t know anyone personally who has tried for 8 months without any pregnancies. It makes me feel really un-womanly if you get what I mean like I’m not fulfilling my womanly responsibilities to be able to make a child.

I’m sorry to hear about your MC I can’t imagine how hard that must be to go through. Like you say it shows that you’ve got the timing right and know what to look for in your body to make a pregnancy happen!

It sounds like you’re a very proactive and positive person so I’m sure it will happen for you again very soon! And you have the reassurance that it happened before. I look forward to hearing you get a BFP🤞😊 xx

Also I just had a question. Anyone know why cycles can go from being pretty regular to quite varied in length?

Mine have been pretty regular so far and then the past three have been quite varied wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Has anyone’s come particularly early one month? Any suggestions why this might be?

June - 27 days
July - 28 days
August - 28 days
September - 28 days
October - 30 days
November - 27 days
December - 23 days

Hi @gracie2307 and @MgW1 hope you're both doing well. Sorry if I am telling you something you already know but I only just found out myself 🙈 The back of the CB sticks work like regular OPKs as well so if you turn them over, you can see the control line and your line. Might worth just checking that as well. I only noticed it this cycle as I would put the stick in the holder, get the result and eject straight into the bin. This month, after a few months using them, I didn't seem to saturate one enough and the test wouldn't read. Had to redo it so pulled it back out the bin to see if the strip was wet and saw the back......how did I not know this, the whole time. See attached pic! But my point is you can see if your line is as dark as the control line. Sorry for the ramble 🙈

*I just re read my message, I didn't reuse the old stick as the above seems to imply 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Was just checking to see whether the stick was wet or if my stream missed it! haha

@MiniBaker I'm sure it will happen soon for you too. I think we just get it blimin drummed into us from school that if you have unprotected sex then you'll get pregs and it's just bollocks! Such a small window each month and so easy to miss. I have regular periods but I've no idea how people with irregular periods have a clue when they ovulate! 🤷‍♀️ Also, it's taken me ages to really understand my body fully. I feel like school taught me absolutely nothing about how the female body worked! 🤯
As for your qu about cycle length, personally I'm convinced that when I get a period a week early, it's due to failed implantation. So you've conceived but for whatever reason, it didn't implant and then your period comes on as a result. I had this a couple of times this year and had it the month before I conceived my first child. I think it helps the body 'get ready', so you never know - perhaps this next cycle will be your lucky one! Keeping fingers crossed for you 🤞🤞🤗

@MiniBaker I read somewhere or saw on YouTube that a shorter period could be implantation failure/ early miscarriage. Not sure where I saw it but might be worth calling into your GP for advice.

Yeah all my periods have been normal (normal for me) not exactly regular but they are the same every month if that makes sense lol. Just frustrating I've got a test gonna do it in a little bit. Thankyou x

Thank you at @SunnydazeQ. I might make an appointment with my GP next week to see what’s up. I have pretty bad period pains this month too and I rarely suffer with period pain!

@MgW1 Thats interesting, Im wondering if taking chasteberry might have done the same for me this month... Im not sure if it automatically means your AF will be delayed what is your usual cycle length? Xx

I am ok thank you, had what I think are O cramps this afternoon took another OPK and its still not as strong as the control line so who knows! Im hoping DTD every other day will help this month.
