Fillers before TTC?

So I was going to get some filler in my lips this month (was ironically booked in for the day lockdown 2 began!) and she couldn’t fit me in before then so she moved my appt to 3rd December which now looks like it’s safe to go ahead depending on what tier my area is placed in

However, me and BF are going to start trying for a baby next month! Been part of our plan this year to start around Christmas time, we have our own home together which is complete, we’ve travelled and are in stable and secure jobs and also financially stable. We’re quite young, fit and healthy too! So we thought it’d be a good time

I’m just a bit worried and wanted to ask is it okay to get fillers before TTC? (I’ll be on my period when I get it done so definitely not pregnant we’ll try after this period)

Of course I’m not assuming I’ll be pregnant by the end of December but of course asking in case it luckily happens.

Has anyone ever had fillers a month-6 months before falling pregnant? Is it okay as long as I’m not pregnant while getting them?

Also please refrain from “why are you getting them” etc - personal choice.

I think you're fine to get them before pregnancy - it's a naturally occurring substance anyway.

I have Botox and had my last dose in September and fell pregnant this month ❤️

I don't think they migrate in the body - they are molecules that attract water for plumping I believe :-)

@Twinkle1989 want to start off by saying congrats lovely! That’s fab news Smile

And this is really reassuring thank you! As I really do want them but I’ve heard mixed things. I’m not sure if people mean you can’t get them if pregnant and say no when TTC in case you’re pregnant but this’ll be before we start and I’ll definitely not be!

So feeling a bit more relaxed about going now thank you lovely! Xx

the only reason we don’t inject during pregnancy is because insurance doesn’t cover us ‘just incase’. I’ve actually done my own while pregnant but obviously it’s not advised. You’d be fine to go ahead

@RayOfSunshine2013 more reassurance here, thank you! Feeling very calm about it now xx
