@MissC07 yes I had my withdrawal bleed 18th Oct for a few days and nothing since I suppose I start counting CD's from then? Which would make me CD52 today? (I think that's how it works?!)

@Nellieee @Robyn101 thank you! I feel better already actually knowing it's not just me! Can't believe I thought I could time coming off the pill to the month I wanted to have a baby hahaha, mother nature has other ideas it seems! I shall just have to wait and see what happens.

Can I ask everyone a potentially silly and possible TMI question? Everyone talks about mucus, but how do you assess this? I've never really noticed much discharge in my knickers or on the toilet paper - certainly nothing that looks like 'egg-white' (although I have to say I've never studied it before!) Do you just pop a finger up and have a feel and it will be obvious? hahah, sorry if that's dumb, all new to me, and not sure if I trust myself to assess it accurately enough to chart it

Hi @abi555 - I was exactly the same. Feel very complacent now! Oh well. We are where we are 🤞🏽

You might never have noticed it as your ovulation is suppressed by taking the pill. So you probably won't have had ovulation cramping and discharge etc. You'll likely get it once your cycles are back, but some women don't get the EWCM or much CM at all. You should spot it in your knicks if you do. This website is helpful for what to look for and how... did you order a BBT thermometer?

@abi555 I never used to get any mucas/discharge whilst I was on the pill, it took a few cycles for it to start coming back...mainly for the reasons @Nellieee has mentioned

@abi555 ditto here - none on the pill and even after coming off I couldn't spot any and had to start taking evening primrose oil in order to get it. On my two most fertile days I spot it in my knickers or when wiping (and test it for that one inch stretch between two fingers if in doubt). If I check internally with fingers I can probably spot it a good 5 days before ovulation.

Cycle day 27 here and even though I said I was being casual this month, I’ve just checked my RHR and it’s the highest it’s ever been in my whole time of owning my Fitbit 🤔. Last month it started to dip at CD25 before AF and I’m actually 10bpm higher than this time last month!

I swore to myself last month I wouldn’t test until I was a week late so 1 week to go!

@Sperr a week late! Oh no, i'm not sure my nerves can cope with it - haha !

I'm 9DPO and have zero symptoms. I am also feeling quite flat about everything as I think my chances of getting pregnant/sustaining pregnancy are quite low, so i'm tempted to test for the hell of it. I just want to feel excited about it again...!

@Sperr mine was the highest it had even been even when AF was late then this happened 😂
I wish I had tested earlier than I did would of let me down more gently 😕

@Kay00 I'd worry that 9dpo is just too early- you might just make yourself sad even if it's actually happened! Maybe hold out for 11?

Oh gosh the stuff about unexplained infertility is quite scary, you never really know how much stuff can go wrong 😕

@TheDaydreamBelievers I know every morning I look at it I’m thinking to myself surely it hasn’t gone down again and it always has 😂 CD6 today so hopefully it starts to pick up 🙄

@Kay00 I’m back working from home so that may change next week but I’m determined to actually at least be late 😂. I’ve got a lot on this weekend so I should be able to resist for a few more days.

@ChinChilly I saw yours which is why I’d rather wait it out and save my money for once 😂.

@Nellieee I got tricked by my body last month (I had a spotting AF that was only 3 days so I was convinced it was implanting) so I’m just thinking at least if it’s nothing I can drink lots of wine at Christmas 😂. If AF does come I hope at least it’s another 28 day cycle for me

@sperr BFN = drinking at xmas is the only thing getting me through this cycle I think lol!

@Kay00 I tested 8 and 9 dpo and got BFN. Was convinced it wouldn't bother me but both days it put me in a right funk! Told myself not to test 10dpo (and I didn't) but that was the day I just knew I was pregnant anyway!! Went to sleep that night dreaming I was having a baby boy and felt so nervous for the morning. Got my BFP 6am on 11dpo! Think it's still really unlikely to get a BFP at 9dpo (think that was the day I implanted!) But if you're not going to be bothered by seeing BFNs (even if false) then go for it 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Sperr Hehe, yes that's my thinking too - soooo looking forward to a big ice cold glass of white wine, or a nice warm spiced mulled wine. Basically wine, any wine will do!

@Juno231 I think its amazing that anyone gets pregnant at all haha... it seems like there are so many things that can be just slightly out that result in no baby! I mean the body actively tries to kill off sperm with acidic CM maybe our bodies are just too good at defending themselves - hehehe!

@TheDaydreamBelievers , I did one... BFN of course, but I was expecting it, it was just an internet cheapy so not even that sensitive, I just wanted to pee on a stick I feel like if I am pregnant then i'll know in good time, and peeing on a stick now won't make much difference

Its interested that you just 'knew' you were pregnant at 10DPO... what made you think this?

I am 5dpo and last night I had the most crazy night sweats and still a bit like it this morning. Was literally drenched and had to change my clothes it was so bad :( I’m worried this is not normal at all!

@Juno231 @Kay00 I’m definitely thinking the same. I can’t imagine Christmas without wine 😂.

@LauraT94 my RHR chart looks really similar to yours where it plateaued for a few days and then went up (only thing kinda giving me hope is that you got your BFP!). Has yours gone up anymore now? Xx

@Kay00 sounds weird that I 'knew' but I did! Main thing that gave it away is I woke up on 10dpo with the WORST trapped wind! Like I could barely walk to the bathroom and it was so painful! Haven't had that in years and years and it just seemed too weird a thing to just happen on its own (apparently the pregnancy hormones slow down/relax your digestive system!). I also felt nauseous for about an hour after my lunch that day. And I was BOILING hot haha! I'm normally quite a cold person but I was sweating when DH said he felt a bit chilly!

@Sperr yes mine plateaued at 77 post ovulation and then jumped up! Have tried to show where I got my BFP. So mines actually gone back down to that plateau rate now 🤷🏼‍♀️ don't know if that's normal but HCG levels are getting stronger every day! I've stopped temping every day as I had a miniscule drop one day and that combined with the dropping RHR sent me into a tail spin 😂 but last temp two days ago was 36.86 which is my highest yet! I'm so hot all the time 😂 DH loves it, says it's like having a hot water bottle in bed!

@LauraT94 alot of women say they just knew they were pregnant before they get the positive test! Glad you’re getting on ok ❤️

Hi all! First time on this type of thing.. I was on the pill for about 6 years. I stopped taking it in August, and have had crazy cycles ever since! I had one as long as 48 days when I first came off it, my next was 31 days and now I’m currently on day 36. Took a test today BFN! 🙁 other than tracking my cycles and taking folic acid tablets I haven’t done much else. I know everyone works differently, where should I start? We really want to give this a good try and hopefully get that positive 🤞🏼

Hi @MissN07 welcome ☺️ The most popular things are OPKs and BBT, i used ovulation test strips at the moment but alot of the ladies on here do the temping stuff aswell, I think temping is the only way to confirm ovulation has happened, I just cant commit to taking me temp at the same time every morning!

In other news, fully stocked up for cycle 5 or 6 I can’t even remember! (Feauturing Christmas table garland 😂)
