Implantation bleeding? Help!

Hello!
Hoping someone that already went through it can help :)
Ttc first child.. so no experience.
We have been ttc for 8 months with no success. I just had my first infertility appointment to get info on all the tests we should do. On of them is a blood test which I should do day 3-5 after my next period.

The issue: for the last year I have had pretty regular 29 day cycles. This month, I ovulated one day early, meaning I missed the lh surge but we still did baby dance ) taking this into account, from my calculations I am 11 dpo and cd 25. My new expected period is cd 28. I always have a 14 day Lutheal phase.

I have tested the last couple days and it's been bfn

I just found out I am bleeding, it's not spotting but it's not even a full on start of a period either. If it's a period, I have never had such an early one.

TMI
It's bright red with mucus on toilet paper, and brown/red on a pad.

I never get spotting, my period always comes on full charge right away! But I don't think I can define it as light spotting either..

What do you think? Anyone has had this? I am concerned/anxious/can't wait it out before getting info from someone that went through implantation bleeding! Thanks for any feedback you may have!

It could be implantation bleeding - it seems to come in all sorts of colours and amounts. 11dpo is on the later side to implant but not out of the realms. Do you have any pain?

@Toastedsesame thanks for the reply! I don't have any pain. I did have some emotional pms signs two days ago so it could well be an early period.
It is still in "panty liner " territory rather than pad but I did experience a bit of a mild flow going to the bathroom, which then I didn't experience again going later.

But.. I am not thinking it will go the way I want it to...

@steph365 All you can do is wait it out and see unfortunately. Sometimes stress can cause irregularity with periods. Fingers crossed for you that it is IB! Let me know how you get on :)

@steph365 I'm the exact same 😭 so worried it's AF, I think I'm out 💔 how are you today? Xx

steph365 · 24/11/2020 09:30

I can confirm it was af.. so strange because last year I sometimes had (much) linger cycles.. never 25 days!!!!
