Hi,

I have just bought ovusense and finally managed to connect it to my phone but it is confusing me slightly.

Not started using it yet as AF is here but can someone explain the cover line, blue line/green line? I’m now going into cycle 8 and just feeling so down about it all now.

Also any success stories or other tips appreciated.

Thanks Smile

Hi @Sausagedognorman, I’m no expert on the OvuSense. I’ve had mine for 3 months and since I bought it my cycles have decided not to play ball. Last month was 44 days and this month I am today cd42!

Anyway, here is what I do not. Your coverline is a line ovusense will draw horizontally across your chart once you’ve had a sustained temperature rise for 3 days. It will sit just above your last temperature before you thermal shift. The blue line is your daily temperature tracking and the green line is plotting a trend as this is how OvuSense will predict ovulation this month and moving forward as it gets to know what is normal for you.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Thank you. This is really helpful.

Sorry to hear about your cycles. So frustrating isn’t it?

My periods have been so light and short since stopping the pill but I’ve had some bloods which were all normal and I’m getting peak on OPK’s so who knows what’s going on.

Mother Nature can be a right cow sometimes .

It’s a nightmare @Sausagedognorman it’s bad enough when AF arrives but at least you know you can start planning next month but when your cycles are so long it’s just wasted time. I’m 39 too so time really isn’t on my side.

Hopefully you’re cycles will normalise soon as your hormones regulate after stopping the pill.

You must be my lucky charm as I think AF will be in full force but tomorrow morning and 2 days earlier than last month! Still 42 days but less is less.

My OvuSense hasn’t detected ovulation for me yet but I’ve stopped using it around cd28 both months as I was expecting the witch to land her broomstick so I’ve either missed it or haven’t ovulated.

Let me know how you get on with it.

Good luck.
