B vitamins arrived today! I'm CD7 so hopefully that's early enough to make a difference, I'll have to wait until end of cycle to find out!
That would be cool to see the sperm swimming! But you probably don't need to, I think it's safe to trust their judgement. You don't know that there is a problem with you, your cycle is normal, your tests have come back normal, I think you just need time 🙂.
Yep it looks like the clinic here includes the same things you have listed with medication an additional cost. IVF is £3300, frozen embryo storage £455 per year and £880 for frozen embryo transfer (incase first fresh IVF cycle doesn't work). Yeh it might be worth you shopping around, there's probably a few clinics/hospitals in your area and they'll be loads in London. That was really good how quick you were seen after making contact. I guess it's the same with everything, the more you pay the quicker you get seen. If you want to save money you have to wait. Maybe you could find a middle ground, somewhere a little cheaper but that doesn't keep you waiting for ages like mine. I just typed Fertility and the area in Google, as it's the only one it was pretty easy to find. You could find out if your local NHS hospital treats self funded patients for fertility.
Haha well I could be starting on clomid or gonadotropins within the next couple of months, so I wanted to read about other people's experiences. I'm hoping I can get gonadotropins as they have a higher success rate but they're mainly used before IVF because they make you produce more eggs, so if you have the medication alone, there's a higher chance of multiple pregnancy! Clomid is similar but doesn't produce as many eggs, so you're more likely to just release one.
Well done for finding those charts! That's really interesting and does give hope for short luteal phases!
I completely understand how you're feeling with the lockdown, it's definitely becoming harder the longer it drags on. Is your job keeping you busy? I find I don't have much time to think about TTC during the day. At least fertility treatments have not stopped, so this time isn't being wasted. You're doing everything you can to TTC and now you have a plan of action if you don't conceive by Easter.
Is there maybe a new hobby or skill you could learn to help keep your mind off TTC? Maybe knitting, painting, learning a language, professional courses, baking? Also do you have zoom catch ups with friends? I know it's not the same but it does help you keep connected to people.
I think how much each woman bleeds is going to vary massively, I wouldn't read too much into one figure. My flow is heavy for CD1 and CD2, then light for the following 3/4 days. I use tampons and pads so I don't know what the volume is. It's amazing how my period pain has greatly reduced since taking folic acid with vitamin D, I've had horribly painful periods for years.
Wow that's quite a different approach, I think most people would feel uncomfortable meeting their partners ex's or their ex's partner but it's a good thing that you wouldn't! Yeh it was quite awkward at dance when they were there, we just tried to avoid them 😂.
I have no idea what body parts those patterns are for 😂 but I'm sure it will turn out amazing! You'll have to post a pic when you've made the practice one. Where can I buy a roll of paper? Is there any particular paper you would recommend? At the moment I'm sticking pieces of A4 paper together with selotape 😂. Ah so for future necklines I'll try and cut out a curve!
Yep bit confusing lol, so DP and I both worked there, he left and now has applied for a job there again 😂. I'm not sure what he wants to do long term, he has skills in data but he's also very good with people, so I think he should aim to gain management experience.
How are you and your DH coping with working from home? Have you got a proper office set up or have you had to take over another room?
Aww that's lovely and really cute your Dad had a pic of them as his background! My Mum wasn't too surprised but she'd seen us dancing a lot together, so may have suspected something!
I find it really odd that you see loads outrageous designs on the catwalk, like who actually buys them?!
