Spotting after DTD

Hi, looking for some help, been trying for a while and I’m about to ovulate but last twice dtd I’ve had quite a bit of spotting which has never happened before...any idea why this might happen? Stops completely afterwards so only happens when dtd. Thank you

Could be that DTD shakes out any old blood still left over from af, I get it sometimes.
Or perhaps a bit of blood from ovulation.
You won't get implantation bleed at the time you have said, so it's not that

I had post coital bleeding after I came off the pill. Turns out that I had a cervical erosion, and the consultant said it was caused by the pill.

Maybe blood from ovulation, I’m just a bit freaked out that it’s never happened before but will keep an eye on it. Thanks for sharing your experience x

@FippertyGibbett I read online about that happening but I’ve not been on the pill for years. Could still be cervical erosion caused by something else though I suppose x

Hi @Kinder19 , I have heard that the cervix can get a bit irritated from DTD a lot. That being said I would keep an eye on it and if it keeps happening make an appointment with your GP as can also be a symptom of other things and it's always better to get checked out, even if just to put your mind at rest.
