Question about this symptom during TWW

Hi everyone!

Currently doing my 2nd TWW, didn’t really have any symptoms the last one but it was our first month of half trying (we missed a lot of days due to work and bf was ill) and I got a BFN

My period is due next weekend so a week today. This week I’ve felt a bit ready which has calmed down now, I’ve felt sad because I have a feeling I’m not pregnant. And currently got very very very light cramping? Like a small wave which is light and if I didn’t sit and think about it I probably wouldn’t notice it!

But now I’m paranoid that this is because I’m due my period this time next week and it’s a signal basically telling me that I’m not pregnant this month Sad

Has anyone else had extremely light cramping (emphasis on this as it’s so light and barely noticeable) during TWW and got a BFP??

Any advice appreciated

I have cramping and AF was due tomorrow. I tested yesterday and I'm positive!

I've had minor cramping for the last week so assuming AF was fast approaching. I have also had a tiny bit of spotting over the last 2 days but all clear now xx

I can't comment on personal experience as I've never been pregnant but I've seen several ladies on here saying they had loads of symptoms and were convinced they were pregnant, then af came. Then on the month they got their BFP they were really surprised as had no symptoms. So you really can't tell, some people get early symptoms, some dont. You're not out until out arrives! I'm currently 8DPO and have some light cramping, hoping it's implantation 🤞.

@Twinkle1989 1) a huge congratulations to you lovely! Amazing news Smile

And 2) thank you because this has reassured me a bit. I won’t be pinning my hopes on a BFP (I try not to to avoid disappointment if it’s not!) but this made me feel a bit better for the week going forward. Hope I get my BFP next weekend

Oops meant to say *you're not out until af arrives' bloody autocorrect! 😂

@ButterscotchBabe yes fully agree! I don’t feel like I am pregnant but I have such a mindset of “don’t get your hopes up” that I don’t think I’ll ever have a feeling that people get? And as it’s such a roll of the dice I just try to stay open minded but this made me panic slightly and I thought right need to debunk this before I start thinking about tiny light cramps (which are gone now) before I overthink!

Sending lots of baby dust your way lovely, hope it’s your month Smile

@22andTTC thanks 😊, it's important to keep positive and know that it will happen for you. The mind is very powerful and if you tell yourself "I know I'm not pregnant", "I can't get pregnant", "it's not going to happen for me" you could actually be causing it not to happen. I attended a webinar last week on unexplained infertility, the lady hosting was a midwife and coach and she advised it's important not to have lots of negative thoughts taking over your mind. If you're interested she's doing the webinar again tomorrow: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/unexplained-infertility-who-why-and-what-you-can-do-to-break-the-cycle-tickets-128398337885?aff=ebdssbonlinesearch&utm-medium=discovery&utm-campaign=social&utm-content=attendeeshare&utm-source=cp&utm-term=destsearch&utm_source=MIM&utm_campaign=3370edd6fb-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2020_11_14_12_21&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_b8f6800b52-3370edd6fb-171699066&ct=t(EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_11_15_2020_0_16)&mc_cid=3370edd6fb&mc_eid=f2a300c336

@ButterscotchBabe this is a really valid point to be honest!

We’re only on month 2 and my bf has mentioned I shouldn’t be saying “it’s not my month” everytime we’ve entered TWW so far

Going to try and change my mindset as this is very true. I can be positive without getting disappointed!
