Feeling deflated

This month I had my heart set on doing the SMEP. But it hadn't turned out possible. The last time we DTD was Wednesday night so about 3 days ago, had my surge yesterday and ovulating today I can tell by pains. My husband works really hard running his own business and works silly hours so we haven't had the chance to DTD again.
I already feel like I'm out this month. Is it even worth me trying tonight? If I'm ovulating today

Yes, send him a flirty text if he’s working and get it done 😉

Of course! Your ovulation pain can happen before or after!

I sometimes get ovulation pain before and after too

Are you using OPK? CB give a 2 day window xx

payton96 · 21/11/2020 08:23

Hey, yeah I'm using OPK and CB. My clear blue only gave a static smiley this morning and my other LV test sticks gave a surge yesterday? Which is confusing

My husband has been working a couple of hours away so its not that easy to get him home and he sometimes doesn't get back until late unfortunately x

@payton96 it's definitely worth dtd today, and tomorrow and the day after as well, if you can 🙂

Twinkle1989 · 21/11/2020 08:41

I think you're safe to DTD today for sure! And tomorrow if you can squeeze it in - definitely not out - I think it's probably the right time xx

Thanks. Problem is he won't be fished until later tonight, do you think this will make a difference? Sorry I guess I'm just looking for reassurance. My husband is so laid back nothing worries him.
Since I'm having all my signs of ovulation today, if I ovulate today, won't it be too late tonight? Or is there still chance

Hi there. The egg lives for up to 24 hours after ovulation so it’s always worth it if you can! It’s not always easy and I sympathise coz me and my partner both work 14 hours shifts anf you can guarantee we we will both be on two long days together every month! Good luck OP! X
