Ok so trying out a new “sex routine” this month 🤣 also tempted to start taking note of my temperature if I can be bothered 🤔 What are you going to try this month? Happy conceiving 🤣!

I may purchase a mooncup since I feel like I've tried and bought everything else!

ButterscotchBabe · 21/11/2020 06:55

I would definitely recommend charting your BBT, it gives you peace of mind knowing you did ovulate and on what day. You'll have to be strict though and set an alarm each morning, so you're taking it at the same time.

Chica1990 · 21/11/2020 07:07

I’m going to be trying a moon cup too. My Ava bracelet also notes a longer fertile window so more of of them baby dance I guess!

LaceyMermaid · 21/11/2020 07:09

I’m wondering whether to do nothing this month! Been doing bbt opks and taking soy/coq10 so wondering whether to do nothing and see what happens! Scared my body will mess around on it’s own though and I won’t know what’s going on and I’ll waste a month 🤔

Twinkle1989 · 21/11/2020 08:22

I used a Fertilily which is similar to a moon cup but much smaller.

The Fertilily gets inserted like an umbrella so it pushes all the sperm further towards your cervix before you tug on the stem which pops it into position so it may be worth trying instead of a mooncup. Mooncups are inserted differently which wouldn't necessarily push the sperm up - if this makes any sense at all

I used it this month and I'm pregnant ❤️

ILookAtTheFloor · 21/11/2020 08:25

I've tried using a mooncup, which I actually really liked and stopped any mess!

Also eating pineapple core for 5 days after ov, I'm on my final one today. Also eating 4 Brazil nuts once a day after ov.

I've also used the Easy@Home app thingy to record my opks.

Also trying to keep my cold feet warm as according to Chinese medicine warm feet equals warm womb which is needed for implantation. My feet are regularly freezing.

We'll see!

I've already quit coffee, changed to all whole meal pasta and rice, take vit d, folic acid, vit E and Co enzyme q10 and have done for the past 3 months.

Not sure what I'll add next month 😂

MayDay27 · 21/11/2020 09:16

Hi everyone, I was just wondering what the plan with the moon cup is? I use one for my periods but are they useful to use while TTC?

ILookAtTheFloor · 21/11/2020 09:39

@MayDay27 I put it in straight after bd to try and keep the swimmers up there and at the right temperature. I had one anyway as I've used it for periods for years and love it.

I might get a fertility though, as mooncup are worn quite low down, while the ferililly is up closer to the cervix.

I did do a few shoulder stands while I had it in, trying to get the swimmers going in the right direction 😂😂 I think I was happier that they stayed at the right temp so could live longer. That's what convinced me to give it a try

MayDay27 · 21/11/2020 11:52

@ILookAtTheFloor that's interesting I might give it a try! I've not started TTC just yet waiting for the end of December. I have looks up preseed and other lubes that have good reviews. I wasn't sure if these are worth a try from the very beginning or to wait until we've had a few cycles trying!

whatever1980 · 21/11/2020 21:07

Thanks for the tip @Twinkle1989 I'll look it up I started reading threads about mooncups on here and read about some getting stuck which freaked me out - so think I'll pass on there mooncup.

May try robuitssen cough medicine for ewcm (sorry about the spelling)

I was about the Mediterranean diet last night but I really healthy already in general.

I know what you're saying @LaceyMermaid about just seeing what happens I'm not even sure whether all the supplements I'm taking are doing anything apart from costing me quite a bit but I'm scared to stop taking them.

LaceyMermaid · 21/11/2020 21:18

@whatever1980 I know what you mean I a scared too 😬 but I’ve tracked my cycle and took soy etc for 5 months so I think it’s time for me to take a more relaxed approach for a couple of months and see what happens. I’m worried my body won’t ovulate as well without the soy but in 3 months it’s not made me pg so time for a change!

whatever1980 · 21/11/2020 21:41

Theres something to be said about taking a relaxed approach @LaceyMermaid I've read that stress affects fertility and I have been stressed with work and this I'm just conscious I'm against the clock or feel that I am

LaceyMermaid · 21/11/2020 21:53

@whatever1980 yes me too I’m 38 so that pressure doesn’t help with stress either I don’t think. I have a stressful job too! It’s all such a minefield isn’t it!

Sweetk0987poiu · 22/11/2020 00:53

I’ve been having a pretty relaxed approach towards it and nothing 😩 makes me feel like Ive wasted all these months not charting ect, this is my last relaxed month and then I’m going all in

Who’s in the two week wait now? I used the moon cup this time around and like someone said it’s a lot less mess! Might invest in fertlily next time.

Lola19 · 03/12/2020 08:09

Clearblue Fertility monitor, bbt, pregnacare pre conception and preseed! Worked for me!
