Ovulation Sickness

Is Ovulation sickness a thing?? We are on cycle 9 and I am on CD11, I have had sickness since CD 8, also had an upset stomach!

I have been using OPKs, no positive yet but have had my clear and creamy CM yesterday and today. Also in agony today with cramps, mainly on the right hand side.

I am confused as don't normally have symptoms like this, sometimes have a bit of cramping but that is it.

Does anyone else get symptoms like this at ovulation??

I've not heard of ovulation causing sickness, I sometimes get ovulation pain on the far right or left side (depending on which ovary is ovulating). If the pain is severe then that could cause you to feel sick but I don't think ovulation itself would cause nausea. Also if you've felt unwell since CD8 it's very unlikely to be due to ovulation. Are you sure you're definitely not pregnant?

The sickness started before the pain so I don't think it is that!

I did wonder if I could be pregnant but seems unlikely as my af finished a week ago? I did a cheap strip test a few nights ago which was negative. Maybe will try another in the morning.

Yes, I do get mild nausea with ovulation, I also feel pretty tired and get the pain on one side. So many times its tricked me into thinking I'm pregnant, but its been ovulation for me.

I was gonna ask the same thing. Im cd17 and the last 48 hours felt so sick from household smells and cooking. Just constant nausea and trying not to vomit. I cant really eat.
I have an 8 month old and not ready for another. We dtd a couple days back protected and before that 7 weeks ago protected and ive had 2 periods but this feels like full on morning sickness! Help!

It's so annoying that it's similar symptoms to being pregnant. I definitely feel different this month though! Not had pain like this around ovulation. My last AF was normal though so I don't think I could be.

My cycle/ovulation never used to be like this, seemed to change after I had my little boy (almost 3y ago)

Mind you, you could still be pregnant - I just never am!

My body seems to like tricking me into thinking I am so probably not! Worst thing is can't even dtd due to the pain so if it is ovulation that probably puts us out this month.

One word: histamine. When estrogen rises, so does histamine. Histamine also rises during pregnancy. Your body should clear it, but sometimes for various reasons it stays elevated. Histamine is the partial cause of motion sickness. Look into low histamine diet, methylation tips & high B6 foods & good luck to all.
