8 days late, negative tests???!

hi, im currently on my 8th day date of my regular 28 day cycle. this is very un normal for me im always a regular. iv taken tests (clearblue & first response) & keep getting a negative result. i have symptoms of sore heavy boobs especially the nipple area, have the odd crampy/niggle pains. have experienced headaches over the past few days. has anyone ever has similar & gone on to have a positive result? i appreciate any info as its quite stressful :( xxx

If you are 8 days late and still having negative tests then you have ovulated late, or maybe not at all yet. Are you tracking or temping? If you have indeed ovulated late then give it a few more days and test again x

@mamaatthegym not tracking ovulation judt know roughly through a period app, havent exactly been trying but also not using protection. have called doctors who have told me they will get someone to call me ref the situation. just so odd being this late & still showing negatives xx

Hopefully you get some answers soon! I was like clockwork and then surprise surprise as soon as I started ttc I would randomly have 42 day cycles. It can be confusing!

@mamaatthegym now 10 days late.. so unlike me. Yesterday morning used a FRER abs for a faint line, got so excited really had my hopes up all day thinking this is it I will defo have a clearer line tomorrow, work up this morning tried 3 tests and all BFN :( been reading about evaporation lines & now thinking it could of been that. Feel so upset today after being so hopeful yesterday, & so confused as still have really sore boobs xx

Ohh sorry to hear that, I had a few very questionable lines on a FRER before so I actually stopped using them for that reason!

Get some cheapie amazon strip tests and use them every couple of days. It might just be too early to show on a test (presuming you ovulated late and are pregnant)

It ain’t over until AF shows! But I know it feels like you’re hanging in purgatory at the moment so frustrating! Hang in there x
