So I'm 13DPO I just popped in to sains to get some bits so got their cheap ones? There's two in a pack so I'll do one tonight and another in the morn. I haven't really had much to drink tonight and as I type (in my car in the car park) I am dying for a wee.
I've had quite a bit of CM today maybe I'm just noticing it all more because I'm wishful thinking?!

@sunflowersaremyfav93 At 13DPO you should test positive so long as the test is relatively sensitive. Sainsbury's tests don't have good reviews though.

Def a BFN @mackjm20 @Curiosity101 which I am absolutely fine with given we haven't started trying yet.

@mackjm20 it really is!! I've felt so so sick and crampy this cycle! I bet I come on tomorrow morning 😂
Work has been horribly busy this week but I'm going to chat to my OH about it whilst we're having a relaxing weekend.. and was also waiting to see what happened with AF. 😂

@Curiosity101 I'd have to be super lucky to have got a BFP! I will do, he's a typical man tho and will most likely not understand when I explain the ovulation dates 😂

@mackjm20 ahh I will be about 6 days behind you. OMG tell me about it. How amazing would it be to be able to find out your pregnant as soon as you have ovulate to avoid having to wait! Infact wouldnt it be amazing to be able to ovulate like every 5 days so that you also dont have to wait as long for the next cycle! lol

@sunflowersaremyfav93 you are officially my TWW inspiration! I don't know how you have managed to last so long. I am ovulating today and I already want to test! LOL... Sorry to hear about your BFN as well, although as you said, you would have been amazingly lucky to have caught this month. Hope your chat with OH goes well this weekend. It took about 3 months of continuously explaining ovulation to OH for him to sort of understand it lol.

I have no idea if this is linked to the mc or not, but ovulation this month has been PAINFUL! Like AF cramps painful! All last night I was cramping so bad and then I woke up feeling like I was gonna vom! Today it has subsided a bit but now I am hungry AF. How crazy! Me and OH DTD last night and hes already up for round 2 tonight (for good luck). I am trying to get into the mindset that its not gonna happen this month. I have read so many threads of people getting pregnant immediately after a mc that I dont want to set myself up for major disappointment.

Although I am secretly hoping we all get our BFPs this month or next, because then we can convert this group to a pregnancy support group! LOL we would all be in it together!

@CookieMonster3001 Good luck for this month. You honestly couldn't have timed DTD better! I'm so hopeful for you. 🤞

@sunflowersaremyfav93 it’s so easy to symptom spot cause the symptoms being the same as pms I do it all the time but in fairness bless you had lots this cycle! That’s a good idea about a weekend chat :) I’m sure men just do not get it when we explain how few days we are fertile haha!

@CookieMonster3001 ah I’m now on 5dpo just wishing the days away. No symptoms for me whatsoever! It would be so great wouldn’t it!! Sorry to hear ovulation has been so painful this month! That sounds horrid :( so good that he is keen :) I think you are right to be quietly cautious but equally I am keeping all crossed for you :)

Omgosh that would be amazing wouldn’t it! :) I’m going to really really try not to test this month as bfns just break my spirit. I would rather af just come I think than to see another negative :) saying that you know me 10dpo I’ll probs take 5 tests haha! weigh day tomorrow so got that to look forward to Atleast. Also if I never see a pineapple again (until next cycle) it will be too soon haha! I’m so sick of pineapple haha x

@mackjm20 haha I can take my pineapple out the fridge now and cut it up ready to start eating tomorrow!!! Lol hopefully its still OK to eat! I tend to cut mine up into 6 chunks and eat some over the course of the week. I really wish work was a bit busy though, its so quiet that I find myself googling all sorts of pregnancy related stuff which is NOT good!! lol

with Valentines day in a month, a BFP would be such a lovely present to get!

@mackjm20 It's so weird even until around just now when AF made an appearance I was suspicious and thinking I'll do a test with FMU tomorrow morning but maybe I was just tricking myself or paying attention to symptoms that I have always had.

So AF arrived pushes my ovulation in Feb to final week which is annoying, I thought this would be my last AF before TTC but it's all fine I'm moaning over nothing. Spoke to OH today about it when I explained I did a test etc and he, for some reason, wants to wait til Feb he thinks it makes a difference as to whether we'd be going to his sisters wedding. I explained that if I was ovulating two days later (in Feb) the due date would be the same but hey ho. Works out for the best really if I did fall PG when we're going to start trying I'd be 30 weeks when we fly out to Spain. According to the NHS website women are able to fly until like 37 weeks but if it's twins it's different.

@CookieMonster3001 I’m sure it will be okay to eat :) it’s a nightmare when it’s quiet isn’t it as allows your mind to drift :) awww that would be lovely :) not going to lie though my fave feb day is pancake day haha!

@sunflowersaremyfav93 it’s honestly the worst how the body convinces is! Wish the tww was shorter! Ah I’m sorry to hear he wants to push until the end of feb how are you feeling about that? Still nearly there and like you said good if you may potentially still be able to fly :)

Update from me my bbt and heart date both have dropped today 6dpo back below the cover line so I am 99% sure that counts me out for this month. On the plus I’ve lost 3lb on this weeks weigh in. I do feel a little deflated like always but I just need to focus on the positives that we know that we are hitting ovulation now so onwards and upwards to the next cycle. Wishing I wasn’t doing dry jan as alllllll the wine would be consumed today haha x

Not really too fussed if that's going to make him feel more comfortable then I'm happy with it. It works out fine for me I still see it as we're starting in 16 days, going to get loads of practice in, DTD as much as poss around fertile window and hopefully I'll be lucky. Worked out that I'd be testing Mother's Day weekend in March.

Also - I need to get off Instagram. All I see is things related to pregnancy and babies.. my fault because it's all I look at but sometimes it's all a bit much isn't it. It becomes quite consuming? Just went on insta and it's all babies, pregnancy or diet TTC. 😫 I often wonder what I'd do if I didn't have this group!

I know exactly what you mean! All my targeted adds are ttc! I’ve also started watching TikToks and loads of them are ttc aswell! Although a lot are so relatable and do make me either laugh or cry :) hoping I can keep myself busy until tues and then test at 10dpo and if I get a BFN confirm my thoughts and move on to cycle 2 :) Atleast we will more of us be on twws together soon once you are started :) exciting :) xxx

Afternoon ladies!

Officially in my TWW now... woo!!! DTD again last night which is good (even though OH was like I think barely nothing came out lol) temp has increased only a tiny bit today, but hoping its just a slow riser. Gonna try not stress too much!!

@sunflowersaremyfav93 glad you had a chat with OH and sorry he still wants to wait until Feb. In the grand scheme of things, its not much longer to wait and your right, it wont effect your due date much at all, but I guess he feels better waiting? Tell me about it with instagram, and facebook! It just constantly throws baby ads, baby videos, pregnancy announcements and its frustrating sometimes!

@mackjm20 cut my pineapple up and chomping on some as we speak lol... its actually nice and sweet now! ooo pancake day, that does sound good!!! a dip at 6DPO could be implantation so dont rule yourself out just yet! see if it creeps back up tomorrow. I always tend to get a dip or two in my LP and I think they are called corpus luteus dip or something like that, its quite common. How long is your LP normally? If it helps at all, the month I fell pregnant, I had a massive BBT dip on 5DPO below cover line.

Ah that’s so good that you managed to DTD again :) fingers crossed it rises to your usual levels soon :) haha I’ve not eaten my pineapple yet today haha I should really eat it soon! I love pancake day! Oo that’s good to know :) thank you I’ll check if it goes up tomorrow if not though I’m okay about it :) I keep telling myself if this isn’t the month on the plus I’ve still got 3 cycles to give me a 2021 baby so I’m feeling positive :) and if it’s 2022 that’s longer to save :) dh said this afternoon that he basically sees this cycle as number 1 even though it was number 5 as it’s the first one we did it right haha! I still laugh to myself how much I used to panic about getting pregnant if only I had known all of this then lol! Xx

I need to stock up on pineapple during my TWW, I've never eaten pineapple but it'll have to become my favourite thing.
Yeah tbh we said we were going to start in Feb and if we did try and conceive now my due date would be based on this period so I'm really not that fussed, like you said, in the grand scheme of things it's nothing.

@mackjm20 Any symptoms? When do you plan to test?

Ladies how do I work out what the abbreviations mean ha I think I can get the gist from most but not sure what TWW means. I had my contraceptive implant out on Thursday morning so now hoping nature will take its course

Thanks @mackjm20 yes started straight away, I’ve been back to back on the implants though for about 6 years so will see how my body is in terms of fertility I guess! Loads of stuff I don’t know though need to do my research as didn’t have a clue about folic acid but started that on Thursday too x
