Hello!

Did anyone know they had conceived before taking a test? Did you notice anything obvious? Feel different? Or just know?!

I was alert for change as we were trying, and also I knew I had just ovulated, but yes I did notice. I suddenly couldn't hold it for any length of time at all when I needed a wee. We were on holiday and walking a lot - it happened a few times that I had to dive into a bush because I really couldn't hold it in. This would have been about 1-2 weeks after ovulating; I did a test after about 3 weeks and it was positive.

I was pretty convinced. I had ridiculously sensitive sore boobs and intense lower backache for three or four days - wearing a bra was agony and I was nearly crying by the end of a trip to the supermarket because of the back pain. I can understand why people might confuse the symptoms with pre-period symptoms, but they didn't feel at all the same to me. I've never felt period cramps in my back, and I tend to get little shooting pains in my boobs rather than the sort of heaviness and extreme sensitivity I had. Plus this was way too early in the month for my period. At the time I felt so weird that I didn't understand how anyone could not know. Turned out to be twins, though, so my hormone levels must have been through the roof!

Yes every time (2DC, 2 early losses) -- walked into a wall of nausea about 48 hours after conception every time. This is weird and supposed to be impossible before implantation but I went on to have v. severe hyperemesis. In all pgs it was obvious way before it was possible to test.

I knew with my 2nd and my 3rd

My 2nd I just felt different. It took 2 weeks to get a positive test and I was so smug as I'd been telling DP I was pregnant and he didnt believe me

With my 3rd I found out 4 days before my period was due. I just felt so tired and drained. I took the test to rule out pregnancy and was so shocked it was positive!
