Uncomfortable school uniform

My DS aged 8 finds pull up school trousers most comfortable but wants a useable fly as it’s embarrassing going to the loo otherwise! He has the elastic at the back ones with adjustable waistband but they never seem to fit properly . I can’t find fully elasticated waist with proper flies anywhere .Can anyone help?

Plus they have nifty let down hems to increase length

They have back elastication so should be pull up-able but they also have a real fly and fastener.
