Hi everyone, sorry for the complicated post. I took Ella one on 5th October. On the 16th/17th/18th I had unbearable cramps along with dark brownish bleeding with some red. At this point I was 5 weeks since last period but a test showed negative. (My cycle is irregular all the time). I suspected a possible chemical pregnancy but wasn’t sure. Yesterday I had a routine smear test and now 24 hours later I have started cramping with pink spotting (I know this can happen with smears). I was expecting my period to arrive within the next week or so but I’m just worried that maybe I am pregnant and getting the smear will have put any potential pregnancy at risk. Has anyone any advice on smears in early pregnancy or bleeding/cycles after Ella one? Thank you so much.
