Yes this happens all the time, apparently you tend to be very fertile after an early miscarriage the same way you can get pregnant very quickly after giving birth. I had a chemical pregnancy in April and then found out I was pregnant again the very next cycle, and am now 28 weeks pregnant with a little boy 💙 I completely understand your fears I was terrified to try again in case the same thing happened twice (which is so unlikely), but have some hope, start trying again when you're ready and see what happens! 💕 lots and lots of baby dust to you ✨✨

Sorry about your chemical Flowers it sucks. I had a chemical and fell pregnant the next cycle (unfortunately miscarried that one too at 6 weeks) a year later I conceived again and DD turns 1 next month!

Whatatoodoodle · 12/11/2020 21:00

Yes the next month.

Yes - I have a dd and am 30 weeks pregnant now with my second child.

Chemical pregnancies aren't a sign of fertility problems (on their own / in isolation etc)

I had a chemical pregnancy age 40 after trying for a while. Thought that was my last chance but got pregnant the next cycle. He’s 11 now!

MyCassiopiea · 12/11/2020 21:08

I had 5 and now have a 3 month old 😊

I’ve had two chemicals and currently awaiting to see if this one also turns into a chemical. I always get tests that don’t get any darker and it ends in me bleeding around AF date.

My tests aren’t getting any darker again... 😔

It’s good to hear the positive and hopeful stories that it does eventually go on to happen for people x

@MyCassiopiea - did u see ur doc about ur 5 chemicals and if so what did they do. Did u do anything different for the pregnancy that stuck. Hope u don’t mind me asking these questions x

I fell pregnant with twins immediately after a chemical! No proper period in between either.

I took 75mg aspiring every day until I got my positive test. This also worked for my friend who was going through IVF and got her positive 3 weeks after me. I'd researched online but my doctor confirmed that that's what he would prescribe.

I was pregnant September, January, September, October and finally November. November is now my daughter and the only difference is the aspirin.

I was also taking Makka Root and Ubiquinol COQ10 for the last 3 pregnancies. I hope that helps 😊

MyCassiopiea · 13/11/2020 18:23

Oh and July. I forgot July 😳

Welliedays · 13/11/2020 22:54

Yup, chemical in July, pregnant in August. Currently 17 weeks

Betty94 · 13/11/2020 22:55

Yes :) I have a chemical pregnancy in January and found out I was pregnant in May - 29 weeks pregnant now with a little boy. Good luck Thanks

Nicknamegoeshere · 13/11/2020 22:57

Chemical last July (on pill, taken absolutely correctly). Then we decided to start trying and I was pregnant first month of trying (by September). I turn 40 soon. Have a five month-old baby girl.
