Hello! 7 months in to TTC and I've resisted OPKs so far but having been temping this month. I've spent a lot of time analysing my chart but to be honest don't really know what I'm looking for. Any experienced BBT ladies can tell me what they make of this? Does it look like I ovulated??

I'd say you've potentially ovulated on CD16 but your temps are quite erratic - do you temp at the same time every day?

I'd also recommend using fertility friend for your tracking as it's much more user friendly to interpret and their algorithms are really good for telling you when you've ovulated per your temps.

Hi Juno, I do it at approximately the same time every day (certainly within an hour and always the second I wake up) but can try to be more precise if it'll help?

Thanks for the fertility friend tip, I'll look into that now.

It depends on the lady but just for reference an hours difference for me results in approximately 0.10 difference in temp, so definitely causes fluctuations - although yours are bigger than that so probably wouldn't smooth much out.

Ok good to know thanks.

I'll start making the effort to stick to exactly the same time and see what they're like next month when I'm more accustomed to doing it, if there's no change I'll do some digging into why!

I've just looked back with my diary and on days 11 and 15 where it was quite high I'd had a couple of drinks the night before, and day 10 was a Sunday so the timing was probably a bit further astray that it usually is.

Note to self to temp at spot on the same time every day and to step away from the wine next month Hmm

Okay in that case I'd mark 11 and 15 as abnormal and that would show quite a clear temp shift after CD16 - indicating that CD16 was your ovulation day!

Oh and on the odd occasion when you haven't temped at the right time (but not to be used all the time) - you can use the below link to adjust the temp for timing.

Ooh thanks. I might download a couple of alternative apps and see which I get on best with. I just used the one I've always used to track my cycle.

Looking much better now I've disregarded my wine-induced high temps! (I didn't even drink that much but I did Sober October so suppose I'm probably more sensitive to alcohol!?).
