pregnancy test, positive or evap line???

i took a pregnancy test this morning and it came back with a very very faint positive line but i was the only one who could see it. I left it for about 30 mins and looked again, i could see again a faint line but it was more visible. After some research I really don't know if it is a evaporated line or not. I did take 3 strip tests which came back negative. If anyone has any advice that would be great!

I could never get on with test strips as I wanted to test early so I bought the clear blue digital tests that say pregnant or not pregnant. No more problems with line eyes.

All brands of tests have a time window and the results after this time are considered invalid as a lot of the time it’s just an evap line. Did you take a pink or blue dye test- the blue dye tests are notorious for evaps so I wouldn’t get my hopes up too much yet.
The strips are not very sensitive so a bfn on them doesn’t mean you’re out. You haven’t said how many dpo you are? x

I took a blue strip test, I'm not too sure what my dpo is as I was on the implant, I got it removed on the 3rd and I never got periods whilst I was using it

Did you have it removed on 3rd October or November?

louisehall00 · 11/11/2020 16:45

3rd November sorry

If you only got it out on the 3rd it seems highly unlikely you’d be pregnant.

Moominmiss · 11/11/2020 16:51

I’d be quite surprised if you could have a positive test only 8 days after having the implant out. That would mean you would have needed to ovulate instantly and implant almost immediately.

PurpleIsTheColour · 11/11/2020 16:52

I would be cautious if it was a blue dye test-I don’t normally trust them even when they’re checked during the correct time window.
I’m not an expert on the implant but if you had it removed on the 3rd this month you would need to have got pregnant on same/next day for even a frer to show a bfp?

Thank you for your replies! I didn't think it would of been possible so I was a bit confused as to why the line was there
