BFN at 10dpo but had BFP with my 1st at 9dpo, is there still a chance?

I am still a little hopeful but so anxious as really was hoping this will be the month as we were trying for few months now (got pregnant straight away last time and at 37 I'm really worried that's it for me with irregular cycles etc) I have extremely sore boobs, a bit of nausea last 2 mornings, and my BBT stayed elevated since ovulation (38.8-37.1) I got a faint positive with my first at 9dpo so I wonder if it's game over now or there's still a chance...

I've had the same experience--I think of I get to 10dpo and no hint of a line, that's probably it. Had a line at 10dpo with both my other pregnancies.

But you never know for sure, you're not out until AF comes.

I would say there's definitely still a chance. The egg might not have implanted yet, every pregnancy is different. With my DS1 I got a BFP the day after my expected period and with DS2 I was almost 2 weeks late before I got a positive. Fingers crossed for you!

Logically, why would the first pregnancy BFP have any bearing on this one? It's got to do with when the egg has implanted, which could be at a different point in every pregnancy you'll ever have. So no you're not out - plenty of people get BFNs at 10DPO only to get a faint line the very next day, or even at 12/13 DPO :)

100% still a chance!

With my last pregnancy (ended in chemical) I got a lovely good bfp at 9dpo.

This time I got the first hint of a line at 11dpo, but still a squinter. It’s only today at 13dpo it’s clear.

Im also 38 and last had a successful pregnancy when I was 32.

Thank you for responding I feel like a crazy lady searching for symptoms and testing like crazy and reading probably way too much into every single tiny thing and driving myself mad 😆

@Dearmaria oh wow that’s much later than I would’ve thought! I’ll try to stay positive then although started to have what feels like period cramps so may be game over after all. But staying hopeful! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@ILookAtTheFloor true although with crazy irregular cycles (14-43 days 🙈) I’m not even entirely sure when af will come so I’m here waiting driving myself mad 🤣
