5 days late BFN

Hello everyone :)

AF is 5 days late now and usually comes like clockwork. I've been having a little bit of nausea but not too bad, and I've had some slight cramps in my lower abdomen which always make me think AF will come but doesn't.

Anyway, the last few days I've been feeling very wet in my underwear, so again, thought it was AF but no, just lots of milky white discharge.

I did a test when I was 3 days late and it was a BFN but with my son (who is 9yo now) I didn't get a BFP until 3 weeks after my period was due, so if AF hasn't arrived by Sunday I will take another test.

Any advice or similar stories? What was the outcome for you?

Hi I am currently experiencing exactly the same. On cd35 and although I have irregular periods this is a long month. I am also having lots of discharge which I don't normally have. I also having slight cramps which I think along with the discharge is af coming but as u say doesn't come. I took a test about 4/5 days ago and a bfn and I can't face the disappointment of another bfn as we have been ttc for over 2 years.
Just so confusing and messes with your head doesn't it

Aww I hope you get your BFP soon! Please let me know how you get on. AF still isn't here for me and I'm about to pop to tesco to get a test. The waiting and not knowing is driving me crazy!

I tested and it's still a BFN! No sign of AF, but I just feel really hungover even though I've not drank. How are you getting on?

I am 2 days late and getting BFN too, also have nausea and lots of creamy cm which is definitely not normal for me.

It's so frustrating not knowing what is going to happen!

Sorry to hear that @gezelligheid 😔 I'm still non the wiser...no af but the odd stomach cramps and still lots of discharge but not all of the time. Still haven't tested again though as I just can't face the disappointment which is silly really. I've decided if I get to cd40 and still no af I'll test. Do you mind me asking how old you are? I'm 35 and have had tests done and although all of my other tests were fine I was told by the fertility clinic I have low amh so a low ovarian reserve 😔 I'm worrying that not having a period means I'm starting the menopause but I have no other symptoms for that 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'm gonna be 28 next month so not really worried in general about menopause yet, but this lack of period has made me wonder what could be the reason.

I'll test again in a week I guess if AF hasn't arrived. I hope you get an answer either way soon. The not knowing is the most frustrating part I think

Before I had my son 4 years ago I had an unusually long cycle and then fell pregnant with him the month after so I guess sometimes it does just happen. Just for me I've been told I have a low ovarian reserve so that worries me and just the constant disappointment every month makes me even more so. Why do our bodies have to play with our minds so much 😔 I hope you do too. It is so frustrating isn't it!
