When can I test

Trigger 24th. IUI 26th. Clinic said not to test until 13th. The wait is horrendous. Should I test early?

I’ve been there, and the waiting is torture. The trouble is, if you test early and you get a BFP you’ll doubt it, because at the back of your mind you’ll be wondering if it’s just the remnants of the trigger shot. And if you get a negative you’ll be devastated even though you may well be pregnant and it’s just too early to test yet.

I waited, because I knew it wouldn’t solve anything for me if I tested early, based on the above. I know it’s so so hard though, and I wish you the best of luck whatever you decide!

I know. So so hard. I feel for you, the waiting is terrible.

If it helps at all to have a success story, I conceived my now five year old on my third and final (before moving to IVF) IUI at the age of 40, with only 3 million sperm. It can happen!!
