No CM? Seven seas?

My partner and I are ready to start TTC, so 4 weeks ago I stopped taking my pill, and started taking 'Seven Seas Trying for a Baby'. Naturally I then had my withdrawal bleed, which finished a little over 3 weeks ago. Since then however I've had no CM- is this normal? I briefly stopped taking my pill at the start of the year and don't recall having this 'issue' so I'm wondering if its in relation to the Seven Seas? (Wouldn't typically be bothered but I'm trying to track it to work out my ovulation days which is a little difficult when there's nothing to track 😂)

Funny you say this, I came off my pill in May started taking this straight away and I have no CM either.. My friends who all have children go on about looking for the CM but I don’t seem to get it... So I’m starting EPO this cycle to see if it helps..

I didn't have any CM after stopping the pill either - taking 2000mg of evening primrose oil (only until ovulation day) really helped though and now I always get EWCM before OD.

@Juno231 that’s good to hear, i think the dosage I have ordered is only 1000mg does that matter?

Ooh that's interesting then, thanks both. I'll order some EPO. I've been tracking my BBT so at least I have something, but the lack of CM concerned me slightly because I wondered if no EGCM then perhaps no ovulation?

@Lisswiss well I mentioned no EWCM to the nurse when I went for smear test the other day and she said don’t get hung up on that as everyone’s different 😊 but she also said when you’ve been on the pill for a long time it can take a little while and for me it was 12 years .. but you just want it to happen it so quickly! 😊 xx

Hi all, I've just come across your thread, I hope you don't mind me joining in!

I started taking seven seas almost 4 months ago now. I used to have ewcm for a day or so, but since taking these vitamins, it doesn't seem to happen. My CB opk shows I'm ovulating in the next day or so, but the lack of ewcm is becoming a little cause for concern...

Just trying to see if anyone else has the same experience... X

@Birchybirch yeh I’ve had exactly the same experience, i don’t get an EWCM and I’ve been taking the seven seas since coming off my pill in May..

I don’t know whether this is what happens with these tablets..

@Nic2020 lol if yours are 1000mg then take two? That's what I do.

Hi, I came off the pill and started taking Pregnacare before switching to Seven Seas, it was only this last month (after taking 2000mg of EPO) did I start seeing EWCM.

Ooh thanks, I'll add epo to my list of "things to look into/mention to a doctor". I'm 36, and not been on the pill since I was about 30, so in the new year if we're not successful I'm going to get everything checked out (bloods and scans for pcos all came back clear several years ago) x
