Hello, would really appreciate some advice if anyone can help.
This is our 3rd cycle TTC (which I know isn't very long)
1st month had a CP, not the best start!
2nd month had a longer than average cycle after CP, starting using OPKs
3rd month, this month I've been using a different brand of OPKs. I was supposed to ovulate yesterday, but as you can see it's just not happening. I've remained 'low' from a week into my cycle up till now.

Can anyone give any advice on this months OPKs. Have I just not ovulated at all?

It's really starting to effect me mentally, i just don't know what's going on, feeling like I having fertility problems. We've tried SO HARD up till now. 😢😢 I really thought I would be pregnant by Christmas. We've been trying since July. I'm sorry, I know lots of people have it worse than me, but that doesn't stop me being sad.

Hi, have you tried the clear blue ovulation tests. I swear by them as none of the trying to study lines rubbish for me. Smiley faces clearer. Also are you taking vitamins. I know it’s frustrating but 3 months is nothing interns of ttc. It can take a year before a gp will worry if under 35, 6 months in older ladies. Try and relax and dtd every other day. Positive thoughts you will get your bfp soon. X

@rttcbabyno1 Hi, I completely understand how frustrating it is. I've had long irregular cycles for over a year whilst trying for my 2nd, first took over 2 years! OPK's wind me up lol I've tried and tried and hardly ever got perfect lines, I think I have a quick serge and then its over. First time with DD only had half positive lines. And now I've just got my bfp this cycle and I was certain I did not ovulate as my body gears up and then doesn't and tries again later in my cycle so I should have o'd cd 17 and I actually didn't until cycle day 26, however I still never got a full positive just a slightly darker line that day. Don't give up trying as you could be ovulating later than you think or could be ovulating without clear positives. I dtd everyday sometimes twice to get pregnant this time and I did somehow!

Thank you for your reply. I haven't actually I will look into them thanks! Yeah I've been taking folic and vitamin D since June. I know its not long but I honestly just can't even imagine how it would feel after a year, i know it sounds pathetic but im already struggling mentally after 3 cycles. The wait is agonising every month. Ive heard all these stories about much worse things to happen but I guess I'm just being selfish and thinking about my own journey. Fingers crossed it happens soon 😞

And yes I will try to relax and stay positive, it's just really not in my nature lol. Think I'm hormonal too, whether that's my ovulation or period who knows. Thanks for your comment again xx

Are you only testing once a day? Try and test 2 or 3 times a day and around the same time each day. Some people (like me!) have a very rapid peak rather than a gradual one. My peak comes and goes within 24 hours so there is a possibility that you might miss yours. Or you could just be ovulating a bit later this cycle for whatever reason. Stick at it and hopefully it'll happen soon, try not to worry just yet. TTC is such a frustrating process. We've been trying for 6 months now and I also thought I'd definitely be pregnant by xmas as it happened so quickly with my previous pregnancies, but nothing so far. Try to remember that it's totally normal for it to take up to a year. X

Thank you for your comment Smile
So when you say about gearing up do you mean you had ups and downs on your OPKs like mine?
Mine was pretty clear last month when I was ovulating (although I was using a different cheaper brand) this month I really don't know.
I will keep trying though if you say it can happen later?
I've tracked my periods for around 2 years and my cycles are usually 33 days, last month I went a lot 42 after the CP. my body doesn't know what's it's doing at the moment.
Maybe I should have TTC earlier than now, but I'm only 26 Sad xx

Thank you for your comment. I was tracking a couple of times a day for a few days but the results were just up and down still so i didn't really understand, I've just been getting really frustrated as getting my hopes up thinking it's happening then it isn't (or doesn't seem to be) I hope that's it's just happened really quick as you say. Last month I had a good 4 days worth of positives so it's just really strange this month. Maybe we will both get pregnant in the next cycle before Xmas, or that's when my two week wait will be, so that will be a nice present lol. My cycles seem to be SO long, never mind the two week wait. It's just all feels very draining when it's all you think about constantly 😞 Xx

@rttcbabyno1, I get all the signs of ovulation EWCM, darkish lines on opks but some months for some reason I just don't end up ovulating but I would think that I did. Since I started temping I realised that I wasn't actually seeing a temp spike and that sometimes it came much later in the month. I didn't get the usual EWCM but I did get a temp rise and then af came 2 weeks later, but still never a positive opk. Well this month same happened again another dark line later in the month but I would say no way near positive. Well low and behold I'm definitely pregnant and sick already so I've come to the conclusion my sure is so quick I miss it if I don't get the timing right. Take 2 tests a day when you think you are close morning and evening and don't stop DTD ever lol, its the only thing that worked for me. Or don't be as cheap as I am and maybe get the expensive clearblue opk Wink
