Ovulation pain after peak?

I got a peak on CBFM and CB digital and easy@home sticks on day 13.

Ava bracelet said day 14 but I haven't worn it long and not convened by it yet.

Now DPO 2 and getting twinges in right ovary.

I understand could be a cyst or something else but just wondering if all of the above have my dates wrong and ovulation hasn't happened yet?

Keep testing? Anyone else experienced this please?

As I understand you ovulate between 12-48hrs after your peak. So if your peak was on day 13, you probably ovulated on day 14 or 15 which ties up with the ovulation pain.

Are you temping? If so that will help you confirm

Thanks@Boredinthehouse12

We DTD 12,13,14 but didn't make it yesterday and probably too late now?

Just started temping with the Ava bracelet but only been using for about a week so too soon to see any real pattern. My temp has risen 3 days in a row.

I did have a thermometer but my toddler is up at various times in the night and morning so wasn't able to measure same time everyday hence bracelet.

What stage are you at?

They say conception is more likely if you dtd a few days prior to ovulation but I’d probably dtd again to cover all possibilities!

I ovulated on CD13 too but I’m 3dpo today. According to my bbt I actually ovulated on the same day I had my peak which meant we didn’t dtd as much as I would have liked as it was too late.

*as much as I would have like too.

(I thought I was going to ovulate on CD15)

Yes, this was me this month. I had ovulation pains for 4 days quite intense too and then a temp rise but that went away and the I've had strange temps since, also thanks to my toddler waking at all hours lol. Anyway I'm pretty sure I ovulated the first or second day of my pains as I actually just got my bfp cycle day 8. I also had a cyst with my DD which caused pain on my ovary and im still getting it a little now so I assume I have another cyst but I'm not complaining! I hope you go the same way as I did and get your bfp soon, 🤞 for you.

Olivebranch26 · 08/11/2020 16:30

Oh and I forgot to mention I'm also so shocked I got my bfp because I had a false surge earlier in my cycle and already thought I'd O'd so we only DTD on the day I had ovulation pains just to make sure, we actually did twice that night and I must have gotten pregnant very fast because I was getting faint lines 7dpo.

Congratulations @Olivebranch26!!! Fantastic news!! Thanks for the info too.

Thanks also @Boredinthehouse12 did you usually get a peak and ovulate the same day? Not much warning!

With my first 3 I dtd when the monitor showed a peak and was lucky to get pregnant. I'm 39 now and using 3 different types of tests plus the Ava bracelet and monitoring EWCM - it's more difficult this time. I don't think I was ever aware of ovulation pain before!

I’ve been using opks for a while now but this is my first month temping, which is how I know when I ovulated. This may have been happening all along and I may not have been aware of it. I’m just glad I started temping as I now know for sure when I have ovulated.

It was definitely a surprise but at least I know for next cycle!

I always get ovulation pain, they’re like light cramps. I think its normal. I had quite a few scans in Aug after a MMC and they didn’t mention anything about a cysts. I just think some people get them, and others don’t.

Sorry to hear about your Mmc @Boredinthehouse12. Good luck for this month
