BFN 8DPO ... :(

Hello,

So I'm currently 8DPO. I have been feeling fairly normal if I'm honest, however this morning I've got lower stomach cramping (very very mild) similar to what I get when AF is on the way.

I only had a clear blue digital in the house this morning, and I know it's probably way too early and I'm being a bit optimistic.

I used it with my FMU this morning and of course 'not pregnant' was the result.

I've had a very unusual cycle this month - I'm currently on cycle day 38 which is abnormally long for me - and 8DPO. AF is due in 4 days time, so I thought if I was pregnant I may be able to pick this up. Maybe not 🤦‍♀️😂

Anyway I'm feeling a bit deflated now.

Sorry - just to add: I had a chemical pregnancy last month which I assume is why my cycle this month has been so different. X

I would say you’re still too early. Very few pregnancies test positive at 8dpo. Give it a couple of days and try again. 🤞🤞af stays away for you!!!

@LT103 thank you, that's reassuring. Got my fingers crossed! Xx

8DPO is terribly early, especially for a digital test. Digitals tend to need a higher hcg concentration. I've gotten positives at 8days but they were absolutely squinters and only on a FRER. Give it another few days and use red dye tests.
