7 DPO - anybody else?

Hello!
So I'm 7 DPO today and slightly concerned that I've not been feeling any different to usual..?!

Last month I sadly had a chemical pregnancy, but did definitely feel different through the TWW that time around.

  • nausea
  • off my food
  • sick
  • stomach cramping
  • soo tired!

This time I feel absolutely fine - I'm wondering if maybe I'm out this month..

This is the first month that DP and I have decided to use the self insemination method..

Would love to chat to anyone else that's in the same position as me! 💓💪

I'm determined to try not to test until at least 9/10DPO. I've only got one test left now and it's a CB digital so I'd rather use it if I'm sure I could be pregnant.. there's nothing worse than seeing 'not pregnant' 😟

I've got a blood test next week with the doctors as I've been feeling quite achey and unwell / off my food the last few weeks but other than that, absolutely fine. Maybe they'll pick up pregnancy if we are lucky this month! X

Hey guys I’m also 7DPO. I feel normal too. I’m tired but I’ve had such a crazy work week and have worked the most ridiculous hours but yeah. I feel normal. I think implantation happens between 6 and 10 dpo. Definitely not had any cramps yet. Just feel normal!

Feminmister · 06/11/2020 19:02

I’m 7dpo and feel totally normal but I can reassure you that I have three kids and have had four pregnancies before and I felt normal until at least 10 dpo with all.

I took a test this morning stupidly. Negative. I am trying to stay positive.

Feminmister · 06/11/2020 19:03

@lockdownroundtwo what is the self insemination method? Good luck for this month.

Overlyanxious · 06/11/2020 19:09

I’m also 7dpo and obsessing about lack of symptoms. Although I think the key time is more 10dpo. I was tracking my temperature but stopped doing it as couldn’t face obsessing over something else Smile

It would be great to hear how you all get on.

Feminmister · 06/11/2020 19:14

Yes it would be great to hear how everyone gets on. Is everyone testing on Monday or waiting longer? I’m going to try and hold on to Monday now but may break on Sunday because I’m the least patient person in the world.

lockdownroundtwo · 06/11/2020 19:20

@AKcheer hey lovely! All the best and fingers crossed for you!
I keep trying to remind myself that not everyone (in fact not many people at all) get symptoms this early so I'm sure we are still in with a shot! 💓

@Feminmister ahh good luck - you're still in with a shot! Implantation may not have happened yet 💓
I keep trying to remind myself that like you said, not many people actually do feel different this early on! So fingers crossed for us all.

Self insemination is a method where you personally insert the sperm into you as close to the cervix as possible, as opposed to DTD naturally. We tried this, this month because I've sadly pulled a muscle in my lower back and couldn't possibly DTD the usual way! 😆🤦‍♀️ xx

@Overlyanxious fingered crossed for you! Xx I have also tried temping but couldn't get on with it personally! Xx

greenfern1 · 06/11/2020 19:29

Hi guys, I’m at around 7dpo - my OPKs were negative (I think) this month in my normal fertile window but we tried to DTD fairly regularly so hopefully caught it! Planning on testing next Monday or Tuesday although I’ve been feeling today like some AF is on its way...I’ve been trying not to symptom spot too much compared to the last couple of months where I was logging every symptom going in my apps!

lockdownroundtwo · 06/11/2020 19:37

@greenfern1 sounds like you've covered yourself really well! Fingers crossed for you 💓 xx

greenfern1 · 06/11/2020 20:21

@lockdownroundtwo thank you, fingers crossed for you too 😊 when are you planning on testing do you think?

AKcheer · 06/11/2020 21:07

Hey @lockdownroundtwo thank you!!! Sending lots of baby dust your way!! When do you plan on testing?

How’s everyone feeling and how longs everyone been trying? Gutted we’re in lockdown 2!!!

lockdownroundtwo · 06/11/2020 21:12

@greenfern1 I'm not sure actually 🤔 I'm hoping to be able to hold out until AF is due - this cycle has been so abnormal for me following my chemical pregnancy - I'm currently on cycle day 38!! So AF is actually due in 5 days providing my app is correct xx

OP posts:
lockdownroundtwo · 06/11/2020 21:15

@AKcheer thank you! And you too ✨

I'm hoping to hold off until AF is due which is apparently 5 says according to my app! 🤔☺️ xx

I've only got a Clear Blue Digital test left though so hoping to hold off xx

Overlyanxious · 06/11/2020 21:47

Good luck to everyone - let’s hope they are all bfp. I think I’m not going to test until af is due.

Overlyanxious · 06/11/2020 21:53

@AKcheer I’ve been trying since June. I had a miscarriage in August. I feel like this month won’t be my month - I feel a bit different after the miscarriage. Im not sure if my body is ready yet or not.

lockdownroundtwo · 06/11/2020 22:06

@Overlyanxious so sorry to hear that 😔💓

OP posts:
lockdownroundtwo · 06/11/2020 22:07

@AKcheer we have been trying for 3 months following removal of my implant in August. Sadly I had a chemical pregnancy last month which was hard.. but been advised that your body is most fertile after loss so we are still trying 💓

OP posts:
AKcheer · 06/11/2020 22:30

@lockdownroundtwo Ahh I’m sure you can hold off!! Fingers crossed AF don’t come and then your test is a BFP! Ahhh I’m sorry to hear about your CP :( fingers crossed for you. Keep trying and stay positive

@Overlyanxious I’m sorry to hear about your miscarriage :(. I’ve also been trying since June but no luck for me. Keep trying and sometimes it might take a bit of time for your body to adjust again but you don’t want to miss any opportunities.

Feminmister · 07/11/2020 06:43

@Overlyanxious sorry to hear of your miscarriage. I also had a miscarriage in the summer but mine was a missed miscarriage and I needed a D&C. Like you I feel different since then. I’ve always conceived very very quickly but not since the miscarriage. I feel less fertile but I cannot explain why. Fingers crossed for both of us.

lockdownroundtwo · 07/11/2020 08:22

@AKcheer thank you lovely. It's sad but I have to keep reminding myself, if I hadn't have tested early I'd have probably not known! So trying to remain positive in that sense. And at least I know that I can happen! Xx

OP posts:
lockdownroundtwo · 07/11/2020 08:24

Good morning everyone hope you're all okay!
I've got a strange AF type feeling today. Feeling lethargic, achey down in my lower stomach and just overall my stomach is feeling heavy.. if that even makes sense 😣😂

I'm so sorry if this is TMI - but I'm also very 'wet' down below Blush it doesn't look like EWCM though so not too sure what's going on! Xx

OP posts:
Overlyanxious · 07/11/2020 08:31

@lockdownroundtwo thank you and sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancy. Fingers crossed for this month. Those sound like good symptoms

@AKcheer thank you Smile

@Feminmister I’m really sorry to hear about your missed miscarriage. I also feel less fertile but can’t explain why. I’ve tried lots of different vitamins etc to try to give my body a boost - but I don’t think it’s actually done anything. Fingers crossed for you for this month. I know lots of people have miscarriages and then have a baby so we both just need to stay positive (easier said then done)

greenfern1 · 07/11/2020 08:44

Morning all, I’m so sorry to hear about your losses and thank you for being so honest. Hope you get some good news very soon 💗

I’m somewhere between 8-11DPO and I’ve also been trying since June. Been having some cramping and can’t tell if it’s AF or not! Trying to keep myself busy this weekend but easier said than done in lockdown 😂
