Currently having bleeding and think it is the start of MC no2. Has anyone any advice on consultants in NI - I know about Dr hunter but I've read some conflicting info. I have an appt booked with Dr Joanne McManus - am I on right or wrong track? I know about Dr Caroline Bryson but I am not sure I would be eligible for a referral until 3 miscarriages and she doesn't appear to run a private clinic . Really don't want to have to wait and go through this again and want to get possible progesterone to start next time around to atleast see if it makes a difference. Any advice would of be great help. Thank you

@Mamainmaking1 Sorry for your losses! I too am going through my 2nd miscarriage at the min, and I know the nhs won't refer until 3. So I have booked a private appointment at MUWC in the hope I can get some answers.

@Christie08 and @Mamainmaking1 could you tell me did you both get any further on? I have had 2 losses now and im not keen on waiting for another. Though not sure if I could afford to go private.

Hi @Mamainmaking1 @Christie08 @ulstermourne can you give an update or any advice. In this position currently and don’t know which specialist to approach.

@AnxiousPoster I did have a private appointment which showed nothing. However I was lucky to be seen by the recurrent miscarriage consultant by fluke and he put me on progesterone and aspirin if I got pregnant again. I did, and started it straight away and had 2 more successful pregnancies!

Thanks for relying @Fawn68 if you’re based in NI can you share the name of the recurrent expert you went to see? Thanks
