Advice needed: BBT rise today but no peak on fertility monitor

Hi everyone,

Basically I used my clear blue fertility monitor for the first time last month and all my readings were text book, got some highs followed by two peak days. Started using it again this month and was expecting ovulation yesterday or today (cd 14 and today cd15) however this morn I got my 6th high reading. I thought the monitor was only meant to show you up to 5 high readings. Also my temp has dropped as usual over my high reading day but today it has jumped right up... suggesting that I have ovulated!? But how can that be possible when I’ve not had a peak reading on my monitor? Also have taken some paper opks yesterday and today and haven’t had any positives on that.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to have ovulated without a peak reading? I’m so frustrated if I haven’t ovulated this month as this is the first time in 10months I’ve managed to get hubby onboard with plenty of love making in the run up! Has this happened to anyone else. I think if my bbt stays elevated then it will mean that I have indeed ovulated and someone how the fertility monitor has just missed it?!

@Lola19 yes its very possible you have ovulated but did not catch your peak on OPKs... it happens to me nearly every month! Three days of elevated temperature should confirm ovulation.

Thanks very much! That puts my mind at ease!

Just to update for anyone reading this, my temp has dropped way back down the next morning. I also got some EWCM later on yesterday (the day my temp spiked) so I guess I’m just going to ovulate late this month and that temp spike was just a random one!
