Hi all,

I promise I'm NOT crazy! I've been asked by my GP to do a home pregnancy test this evening, before I have an appointment with them mid next week for blood tests.

For background - for the past 2/3 weeks, I've been feeling super nauseous, sick, dizzy and can't put my finger on why.. 🤔 nothing in my day to day life or diet has changed.
The GP did ask if I could be pregnant - we have been TTC but didn't think I could be, as I'm only 5DPO following a super long cycle, due to an unfortunate chemical pregnancy last month.

I've taken this test this evening - have had a drink around an hour and a half ago but tried to hold my urine for as long as possible for this test.

Not sure that I can really see anything, but wondered if you guys can?

The blood tests that the GP does for me next week will be able to confirm, but she said going by how I'm feeling it sounds pregnancy related, so wanted me to check.

Thanks all! X.

I know there probably isn't anything there, as it's so early and implantation couldn't have even happened yet! But just wanted to see what you guys think 😚

I don't see anything I'm afraid. I have to say though that CB tests have given me hints of lines when I definitely wasn't pregnant, so I don't trust them. As you said, you are only 5DPO so it would be highly unlikely if not impossible to get a positive (unless you have miscalculated ovulation day, which happens very often). I would just wait to get the bloods done since this is scheduled and then you'll know for sure. Fingers crossed for you! 🧚🏼‍♀️

I’m so sorry but I don’t really see anything. I also have a procedure next week so was asked to test. This is a FRER and I am only 8dpo not sure what to make of this ? X

@eloiseislost thank you - I didn't think I could either ☺️

I think the GP probably just wanted to rule it out / for me to check in case it was a possibility before my appointment.
I think the fact that I've had such a long cycle perhaps raised suspicions for her.

Thank you! Xx

@Idreamof2more it's okay - thank you for checking!

I can see a faint line on yours - I'm not sure if it's got any colour though? It could be the indent line.. 💓

@Idreamof2more I inverted the photo and increased the contrast, but still can't see anything, I'm sorry! Maybe test again in a couple of days? Fingers crossed for you! 🧚🏼‍♀️

It is slightly pink but so early so will wait to see. Good luck to you x

greypaint · 04/11/2020 17:51

@Idreamof2more I can actually see the line much clearer in the inverted photo! 🥰
