I’m hoping someone can help..

I have been trying to conceive since earlier in the year. I have a regular 28/29 day cycle and often track CM.

This month I decided to try the Clearblue Digital kit to pinpoint ovulation. I’m currently on CD12 and have been receiving Low Fertility results for the past few days. My app says I’m 3 days away from ovulation, however surely If this was the case I should be receiving the flashing smiley by now?

I’m concerned that I might not be ovulating? Or am I’m being too impatient?

What’s the latest you’ve ovulated on a 28/29 cycle ?

I conceived twice - 15 months part - only dtd on day 23 of my 28 day cycle.. Dp at the time worked away so it can't have been any earlier!!

@Sunnydaysstillhere thank you! This gives me some hope. Perhaps I ovulate later than I thought, hence not having much success

I was similar, I have quite average cycles 27-30 days and my ovulation apps always showed ovulation CD13, however I ovulated CD15 so two days later. I did have flashing smiles by CD13 but definitely hold out, because you might just have a sharp rise in Estrogen and then hit your peak!

Sorry I mean I got my static on CD15* meaning I ovulated most probably CD16, so 3 days later than my apps both suggested!

@2020TTC I see, thank you for responding. It’s really out my mind at ease. Hopefully I’m just being impatient

I used clearblue digital for years. The "flashing" part of the test is to do with estrogen levels so it's possible to go straight from zero to a peak smiley (the peak smiley is in response to LH levels). I would say that my clearblue didn't always line up with what a phone app might predict - I have standard 29 day cycles but could ovulate anywhere from day 12 to day 17

Thanks ladies! Just to conclude the thread, I went straight from low fertility to a peak this morning. I guess I missed out on the surge. The tests line up perfectly with my app so I’m just going to keep temping to confirm ovulation.
