Faint positive

Don’t want to google this as know I’ll get stuck down a wormhole and freak myself out but am I right in thinking that even the faintest whisper is a line on a pregnancy test is positive? I’ve had one ectopic and one miscarriage and I have one beautiful daughter and we’re desperate for one more baby to complete our family. We’ve been trying for 18 months and I’m 36.

A second line with colour no matter how faint is a positive x

Thank you for replying! I'm a new user and, annoyingly, it isn't letting me post a pic. I'll do another test tomorrow morning and post a pic then as maybe I'll know more then anyway (took today's half way through the day). Fingers crossed!

I got my positive half way through the day I found the line came up darker on later on in the day. Xx

Finally letting me post a picture! From bottom up, 9dpo, 10dpo, 11dpo. Think my period is due tomorrow but not sure if cycle has returned to normal since my miscarriage

@Idreamof2more oh no ☹️ don't lose hope just yet, still early for this cycle and don't lose hope over it all. Two of the mums in my NCT group for my first daughter were 43 - you're a spring chicken!

@Cbd333 that is so lovely of you to say. I’m trying to keep positive. Last night I told my partner I’m done with having another baby. He seems a bit sad. Feel bad now. Thing is without boasting I have always been so fertile and lucky but since 49 lost 3 babies through mc and cp and despite taking supps and tracking ovulation just can’t seem to hit it. How are you feeling today ? Xx

@Idreamof2more it took us 18 months with this one - and I think I've only fallen pregnant quickly this time because I'm rebounding from a mc in August, if that makes sense! Still massively early days so trying not to think about it too much.

I'm guessing you're using the ovulation sticks? I've only got one Fallopian tube following an ectopic and found they gave me some comfort as told me whether or not I was ovulating that month.

Ps you don't sound boastful at all, just take it as reassurance that it will happen for you! x

Yes I use the cb advanced digital. Take vits but seems like it’s not going to be so straight forward. I had a mc in lockdown then I fell straight away but sadly had to have a termination due to medical condition. Was heartbroken. Had a cp last month basically got a bfp day of af but bled heavily.
Was convinced would happen as I’ve only ever tried a few times and not conceived so was very hopeful. I know relate so much more to those that can’t fall or don’t fall quickly xxx
