Hello
I am new to TTC and could do with some help re. Clear Blue opks. I came off the pill in September and had a withdrawal bleed. 25 days later I had first AF. As I recall my cycles used to be 30/31 days but assumed my body was adjusting and my new cycle might be shorter. Wanted to track ovulation so started using the clear blue advanced opks from the end of AF. Got the blank face for over a week and then day 14, predicted ovulation day, started getting flashing smiley. Had 7 days at least of this so pretty much gave up but then today I got a static face. This is day 22 so would push ovulation to day 23 which seems far too late. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience?? Or advice? Will this cycle be much longer ? Is the CB malfunctioning? Help!

I would often ovulate this late but it'll mean they it'll push the due date of af back too, personally I always found the clear blue tears accurate so if your getting other signs. Ewcm etc then I'd assume you were ovulating xx

Thank you for the reply. Glad to know that CB is accurate. I have had some other symptoms. Do you have long cycles? I am thinking that I might have a 30+ cycle this time. I can't remember them being as long pre-pill but it was a long time ago!

My cycles would range from 28-36 days with probably an average around the 32 ish day mark. Once I started tracking ovulation it really varied, I got pregnant with this one when I ovulated early around day 11 but the first month I used the clear blue opk I didn't ovulate until day 21, got a bfp then too but had a Mc so it goes to show it really can vary a lot in some of us. My cycles defo got longer the older I got xx

Sorry to hear about your MC :(

Interesting to hear about the difference in ovulation dates. I assumed it would always be the same CD each time but clearly not! I will keep tracking and see what happens. Congratulations on your pregnancy and I hope all goes smoothly xx

@Catmum55566 sorry for late reply, I think for many women they do ovulate around a similar day which then leads to regular periods but if your cycles are a bit more varied it's normally due to changing ovulation dates, just means you need to spot your signs a bit more but I don't think it affects you getting pregnant xx
