Hi everyone!

Going into our second cycle TTC, stumbled across the SMEP and a lot of couples seem to have had success with it. Has anyone else heard of this/trying it this cycle? X

Think I might test in the morning. Will be 11dpo. Have a frer waiting for me. Hopefully that's not too early. Not going to lie will be gutted if it's negative.

@mommyofone2019 I’m the same, I was taking straight folic acid so I’ve changed to those ones too but no matter what I take my cycle seems all over the place and it wasn’t before maybe 2 days out max. Don’t want to stop but it’s doing my head in! What are you thinking of trying next?

@Gamechanger2019 I've ordered just folic acid tablets so will see how I get on with those!!

@Memcf2 Congratulations that's a solid positive!! Ahh I'm one day behind you but just can't bring myself to test as I just have no good feeling this month 😂
Have you had any symptoms? X

@HollowayL31 I thought we were out as didn't really follow smep very well. Missed 1 of the 3 consecutive days. Only thing noticable is a sore lower back bit I do get sore backs. X

@Memcf2 Ahh that's reassuring that it could still happen for me. I'm not due on till Thursday anyway! How long have you been trying for and is this your first month of SMEP? X

@HollowayL31 I came off the pill around May/June time and been trying since. Yeah this was the first month of smep. I still can't get excited. Hadn't even heard of a cp until I came on here. As I'm only 11dpo just hoping all is well. X

@Memcf2 Ah around the same time too, I had my coil out in June and fell pregnant in July, I had never herd of a CP either till coming on here and then had one so been trying since! Is this your first? This is my first month too of trying this method I went all out with conception gel too for an added boast 😂 x

@HollowayL31 no this is number 2 for us. We have a daughter who is 2 1/2. I didn't use any gel. Will you test tomorrow? I have 3 more frer test and not sure if I will use them to see if the line gets darker or if that will just cause me stress. Still don't quite believe it I'm not due my period until Friday but I ovulated cd 12 which is early for me so not sure if my period would have come Wednesday. Who knows. Fingers crossed all is well. Good luck for when you test. Will be waiting to hear. X

Who's next to test then? I think I am 5/6 DPO. Getting some lower pelvic cramps which I dont know what to make of - may be overthinking!x

I'm due on Thursday. Think I'm 11Dpo last night I had sharpe pains but nothing today. I'm going to be good this month and just test if I don't come on. Don't know how I'm gonna cope 😂

I tested again yesterday. Stupid I know. Line was pretty much the same so not testing again. X

Morning! Ahh I tested this morning stark white! Waaa 😫 due Thursday so I'll wait and see but not holding much hope x

Oh my gosh I am knackered 😂 im still not using opk but i had lots of symptoms of it so i may have just ovulated not 100% 🤭

@HollowayL31 sorry to hear it was negative. What test did you use?

@charlsains you've certainly been busy! Hope you have as chilled a 2ww as possible.

I think I am either 6 or 7 dpo today and have had central pelvic dull pain, mild nausea, breast tenderness - basically same symptoms as AF but no blood yet, I usually get AF within 24 hours of these symptoms, feeling quietly hopeful...
