Brown discharge/spotting

Has anyone ever experienced a late period and on and off brown spotting?
I'm 2 weeks late and BFN but the past few days I've been having brown discharge/spotting only when I go to the toilet or wipe though, doesn't fill a pad or anything. Keep thinking AF is coming but I've had no red blood? I've not been having any cramps like I normally do with my AF either which is strange.

Anyone who has had a similar experience please let me know!

This could well be Implantation bleeding. I had this as you describe and I was pregnant. There could be other reasons too, but maybe think about taking a test.

I had this with my 3rd son. It was dark and light brown spotting for a few day between week 5 and 6. He was fine xx

Thank you both for replying! Glad I'm not going crazy and other people have experienced this.
Wasn't sure if it was too late for implantation bleeding but will test again in a couple days maybe and see
