Hi, I understand everyone’s experiences and bodies are different but was looking to find out if what I am experiencing is common.
After years in the pill I came off and my partner and I were TTC. Surprisingly it happened really quickly for us however I was diagnosed with a MMC at 7 weeks the end of August. I had a D&C a few days later under local anaesthetic and didn’t bleed too much the days after with only some mild cramping. My first AF came 5 weeks after the procedure then 18 days after that AF I had some mild cramping and spotting which I had hoped to be implantation bleeding. However the spotting lasted on and off for around 6 days. On the 4th week after my first AF I did a test which showed negative. I’m. Now 5 weeks since that period and no sign of my 2nd AF since the procedure.
I have read that your cycle can be messed up for a few months after a D&C but I hadn’t expected the spotting through the cycle.
Would be happy to hear others experience as trying to relax and let nature take its course as became a bit obsessive after the procedure about conceiving again.
