how long is your lh surge

i usually have a very short lh surge and hardly ever get a blaring positive opk but the last 24 hours ive had constant blaring positive opk im on cd 41 and any pregnancy tests are negative which is why i was wondering how long can an lh surge last.

Last cycle I had positives for over 48 hours. It was longer than I usually do, I’ve no idea why, and got a BFN that month. Got a positive this time last night and they’re still blazing positives now, so been at least 24 hours.

I'm having the exact same thing right now, been getting very clear peaks since last night. No temp rise today though so I'll see how they are over the next few days
