Got my BFP this week after experiencing an early MC/chemical pregnancy in September. Just looking for some reassurance really, do these look like good lines? The cheapie was 12 DPO at around 7pm and the answer test was 13 DPO FMU. Got my fingers crossed for a sticky one this time 🤞

Sorry to hear about your chemical last month!💐

I definitely think this is a lovely looking line!!

Fingers crossed for you going forwards to a healthy pregnancy this time!

MummyToPrince · 30/10/2020 13:35

@meganm94 Firstly congratulations! Secondly I'm sorry about your MC/CP those lines are perfect, here is my test today at 11dpo x

thanks ladies, trying not to get too ahead of myself as I'm just scared to face the disappointment again but it's difficult not to get your hopes up when you get those 2 lines! and congrats @MummyToPrince when are you due? x

I would say they are deffo positive! Congratulations!
Have you used the answer brand before?? I’ve heard they made by the same company as first response xx

meganm94 · 30/10/2020 17:03

@jessi60 thank you, yes I used them with my last pregnancy but only ever got the faintest squinter of a line (see photo) so I'm hoping this is a good sign as there was no doubting it was a BFP this time 🤞 x

@meganm94 ah wow you can still see it on that other photo aswell!! So exciting. Have you been trying for long? I’m new to all of this and only started trying this month but only been off my contraception 3.5 weeks so not holding out much hope for this month Xx

AnxiousAnnie86 · 30/10/2020 17:11

@meganm94 those lines look just like mine! I find my tests are stronger smu too! Xx

meganm94 · 30/10/2020 17:37

@jessi60 yeah it was so faint though, this one is much darker so fingers crossed!

We haven't necessarily been trying but we haven't been careful if you get me, we only DTD once this month without protection (hubby got a bit carried away 😅) and here we are! I had my little girl 14 months ago (took us 5 months with her) and never went back on the pill as we knew we wanted another sooner rather than later. We were going to start properly trying in January if it hadn't happened already. Hopefully it happens for you soon! TTC is a bitch x

@meganm94 I got my bfp on Monday :) I think I'm five weeks or 7 going off last period!! But I have long cycles and know when I ovulated, so think it's most likely 5!!

We have been trying 15 months, had a MC last October then nothing since! This was the one month we didn't really try and relaxed x

AnxiousAnnie86 · 30/10/2020 17:40

@meganm94 just realised that reply wasn't to me! Haha ignore me 🤣🤣

meganm94 · 30/10/2020 17:58

@AnxiousAnnie86 haha no worries! congratulations on your BFP! and so sorry to hear about your MC, it's such an awful thing to happen. I'm still in the very early days, I'm not even due on until Monday, going by my last period I'm 3+5 today, should be due 11th July 2021 of all goes well 🤞 x

@meganm94 have you got any symptoms or anything yet? Xxx

meganm94 · 30/10/2020 18:05

@AnxiousAnnie86 yeah I'm an obsessive symptom spotter haha! I've had cramps since we DTD which has been the giveaway the last 2 pregnancies and I'm starting to get a tingly, let down sensation in my boobs, had a couple of emotional days where I've cried at absolutely nothing and been really tired. Have you had any? x

OP posts:
AnxiousAnnie86 · 30/10/2020 18:08

@meganm94 my boobs have been killing since ovulation, but since about 13dpo I've had back ache and cramps, not so much period type cramps anymore but like sharp pulling achey type! Is that normal?!!

meganm94 · 30/10/2020 19:53

@AnxiousAnnie86 I think it's quite common, I had cramps when I was pregnant with DD for the first few weeks and she's a healthy 14 month old now and I'm having cramps again this time, fingers crossed we both go on to have healthy pregnancies 🤞 x

little update if anyone's interested...

11, 12 and 14 DPO

I definitely think it's getting darker, trying (not very hard) to keep myself sane 😅 my CP happened on CD37 last time, currently on CD28 and I don't feel like I'm going to be able to relax at all until I'm past that 6 week mark, I'm just so scared of having another chemical 😩 x

Good lines for 12/13 DPO?
