21 Day Progesterone Advice!

Hi, first time here :)
I had my first period 4 months after coming off the pill. First day of my period - 30th Sept. Had a 21 day progesterone test on day 21 (20th October) test came back I have ovulated (yay) with a level of 30.
Now my problem is and what I need help with is does that mean I ovulated on this cycle? Everything I read says yes and I will either have my period for which I am 3 days overdue if a 28 day cycle or the egg would have been fertilized yes? The doctor told me I have ovulated but doesn't mean I will again on this cycle, but surely I am still within the cycle the test was done for?! Please help..

I think the doctor meant the coming cycle.

Maybe someone will come alone with better knowledge than me of progesterone levels, I was told 30 was the lower end. Toni Wechsler's book may help you with cycle knowledge. Fingers crossed!

@Livingmagicallyagain Thank you for your reply. I think the doctor must have meant that too but I don't understand why she has bypassed this cycle when I am currently still in it. I was told over 15 means ovulation but 30-35 is the ideal range so who knows, just hoping for a miracle :)
