Hi everyone I came off cerelle at the start of September and had a withdrawal bleed on the 9th September for a few days I haven’t had a period since has anyone experienced this? I’m just starting to get worried now any help appreciated!

It takes a while for your body to regulate after birth control, my GP said they would give it 6 months before they do any investigating. I’ve had an absolute nightmare coming off my pill there’s a group chat on here with lots of women with post pill issues but they do generally settle it just takes a bit of time for some of us. Loads of women have no issues but occasionally there’s a bit of a delay while our bodies work out what to do. The general rule is if you haven’t got your period back in 3 months to go see your GP

Hey thank you! I read somewhere it’s usually 6 months with the mini pill as well I see people getting pregnant so easily when coming off the pill which isn’t really the reason I came off it’s because of the side effects from it. It’s lovely to have people on here in the same boat though! Have your periods regulated themselves now or? If so how long did it take?

@C11111 I'm still having issues post pill 7 months after stopping, I think in some cases it can take up to a year to get back to normal, still very frustrating though! Hopefully you'll get back on track quickly :)

@C11111 my periods are regular now but my lining isn’t thickening. No problem if not ttc but I am! So I’m on first cycle of estrogen treatment for that. I wouldn’t worry though it’s completely normal and if you’re not actively ttc you have the luxury of time and can relax and let it happen :)

@MintGreenLife yep still here 7 cycles later and counting. I may even be on 8 now. Hope you’re well x

@Tinkertailor88 hey :) I need to catch up with you properly and find out how your elimination diet is going! Will send you a PM now :) if it makes you feel any better I'm cycle 6 TTC now and 7 cycles off the pill x
