Weird symptoms 5 weeks after mc

Hi.
Ok I've got a bit of an odd one going on so would appreciate some advice.
I had a mc 5 weeks and 2 days ago (I was 9 weeks at the time) I had it medically managed 5 weeks ago but felt it was necessary as I'm sure it had all passed..... anyway.....
The past 2 weeks I've had a lot of snotty thick ewcm, boobs have been horrendous but I'm getting negative tests.
AF is still a no show, I'm not sure what to think...... I have been BDing a fair bit as we want to try again.
Just don't know what to think....... any advice would be amazing x

Hi @CrazyFooLady. Im sorry for what you’ve had to go through and the confusion Now doesn’t help. I have had 2 MC. After The first which was only at 5 weeks, I had really very strong symptoms and would have completely thought I was pregnant, but it was just residual hormones. It was such a confusing month because I had no idea when I would ovulate or my period show up, but I desperately Want to be PG again do we went for it. That doesn’t mean that’s what’s going on for you, but could be one possible explanation.

Have you been testing for ovulation at all? Might give you an idea of when you might expect a test might show up truly positive or negative either way. You could be PG but if it’s too earlY if may not bring showing up.

Could the CM have been from ovulation oR did it seem different to you?

I'm not sure what it is in all honesty, I will be technically 2 weeks late tomorrow (if on a standard cycle) I just keep getting a lot of snotty thick discharge, I don't have any infections. Been feeling a bit blah and my boobs really hurt...... that and odd cramping, I did think AF was coming the other day but she failed to rock up.
Not tracking ovulation, just thought things would sort themselves out....... u know what thought did lol

@CrazyFooLady. Another option could be there you ovulated really early in the cycle, and fertilisation has occurred and but it is too early to show up yet.

My cycle came back after 28 days,but I know it can take 6 weeks.

Would you think about contacting your GP?

@Bouncytree I have thought about contacting the GP but don't want to waste there time.
Unfortunately they weren't too kind to me when I was first having my miscarriage (Geriatric mum at the age of 40, the older receptionist was very rude) the doctor however was lovely almost like a doctor mum who told me off for being at work a week after my mc and signed me off for another week.
Kinda thinking I should sit here and wait it out, I'm sure AF will show up at the most inconvenient moment going 😂

Oh no that’s awful @CrazyFooLady. I am 41 and I’ve been lucky no one has mentored it to me so far, it makes me very 😡.

Well if your doctor was nice and you feel You Start to feel worried you should go. You’ve had a MC after all and aftercare is important too. I first go to the gp with my DS just for reassurance and they always tell me to come anytime I’m concerned.

I had a mmc at 11 weeks in June. I had medical management but it didnt all pass until August! My cycle was like clockwork before the miscarriage but is still all over the place and much shorter than before. Im really stressed about it but trying to reassure myself that hormones take time to settle. From what I have read it can take up to 6 months for everything to regulate x
