Hi,
I'm trying for baby no 2 now! I took a long time for baby no 1 to be here and would be totally shocked if this was positive as it's only the second cycle since removing the implant. Can anyone else see a very faint line or am I just wishing it to be there. It definitley took longer than 3mins to show and I was due yesterday.

@LuluF91 Hi, there is definitely a line there and if it came within 10 mins then it looks promising. What dpo are you? I have had evap lines on the blue tests because they are bad for them, but usually after its started drying a bit. Smile

Olivebranch26 · 28/10/2020 13:41

@LuluF91 Sorry just seen that you said your due on so I guess around 13dpo? It is faint but not enough that I can't see it. I wish it was a pink dye test I would be saying congrats but I can't say I trust the blue ones so much. 🤞 for you, could you pick up a frer?

Char899 · 28/10/2020 13:43

I can see a faint line too but I agree, definitely get yourself a pink dye test like a frer just to double check!

LuluF91 · 28/10/2020 15:05

Hiya! Thanks for replying I've picked up a pink test and here it is... I think i can see a faint line here too!

@LuluF91 I can definitely see a faint line on your pink test. Congratulations I would say thats positive! Grin I know how it feels to be trying again for your 2nd I've been going over a year now. So to have a BFP so soon is amazing! So happy for you and keeping my fingers crossed all goes great. Xx

LuluF91 · 28/10/2020 16:13

Thankyou! It's good to have another set of eyes! I'm really shocked and not said to my husband yet. I'm going to take a digital tomorrow. I will update you with the result. I honestly don't know how it's happened so quick this time...only thing different is we both have taken multivitamins throughout. Literally took about 4 years to have baby no1. Keep me posted on your journey! Wishing you all the best!

Ah congratulations! Definitely a line on that one!

LuluF91 · 28/10/2020 20:00

Thankyou! I went to yoga tonight and showed my instructor a photo and she couldn't see it so I was a little down but I feel nauseous so I'm not being put off too much. I did only ask her due to wondering if some of the moves were safe during first trimester. Ugh I can't wait to take a digital tomorrow!!

Mooey89 · 28/10/2020 20:04

I wouldn’t take a digital yet! I think they are early positives but digitalis aren’t as sensitive so it might not pick it up yet. I’d try a FRER

LuluF91 · 28/10/2020 21:28

Oh really? I know exactly the dates I could have potentially conceived as using OPK and that was slightly more than 2 weeks ago so not sure it can be early?

Sigh. A negative digital and negative norm one.

If you still feel sick and your period doesn’t show I’d test again in a couple of days. This early on it only takes an extra drink before bed to knock the dilution out. It could be a chemical pregnancy but it might not be. I know you said you would expect it to be clearer going by the dates of your opk but I think it can take up to 2 days after peak opk to actually ovulate and the length of time it takes for the egg to be fertilised and implant can vary by a few days too which makes a huge difference to testing early on.

I had a chemical last month I know how crushing it is even when it’s so early. However, by some miracle I got another BFP this month and again it was very faint for the dates of my peak opk (and the last date we dtd) and the second test I took was lighter than the first so I thought it was another chemical but I left it a few days and tested again and got a stronger positive on a cheapie followed by a positive digital.

Fingers crossed for you.

I am starting to wonder if I missed my first pregnancy by a few weeks due to testing to soon. I bought some first response and tempted to hold urine for 4 hours and test again because I feel so unsettled now. K still have nausea and lower back pain. I was trying to hold of telling dh but I think I will tell him now as feeling very out of sorts :(

Yes. I am crazy. I retested and I'm sure there is a faint line. Anyone else see it?

Mooey89 · 29/10/2020 12:10

Honestly if your period was due two days ago you should be having nice clear lines by now. I’m so sorry but I think judging by your faint lines and now negatives I think you’ve probably had a chemical. I had one, it was awful, I’m sorry.

LuluF91 · 29/10/2020 18:29

I'm going to test again tomorrow. I really am worried it's chemical. I'm going to be absolutely devastated if I get my period and I have work the next 3 days so I really hope that doesn't happen. I was MAJORLY emotional last week, literally cried every shift i was on and now I know why.

Olivebranch26 · 29/10/2020 19:11

@LuluF91 I'm so sorry to hear how confusing this is for you. Especially when you get all excited and hope this is your time and something throws you out, it isn't fair and I sympathise completely. You be as emotional as you need to be we all are lol. I really hope this turns out positive and I'm keeping my 🤞 for you Xx

LuluF91 · 30/10/2020 02:31

I tested and I still see a faint line using first response. Not ready to give up on this yet!

Mooey89 · 30/10/2020 08:29

Maybe book an appointment with your doc for a blood test? Fingers crossed for you x

CovidStoleTheRainbow · 30/10/2020 08:45

There's definitely one on that last first response test

Char899 · 30/10/2020 09:04

@LuluF91 any chance you ovulated later than you thought?

mich20208 · 30/10/2020 10:01

Can definitely see it on both frer x

LuluF91 · 30/10/2020 16:41

Think that's game over for me. Started spotting this morning which has turned into a light period :(

Secretsquirrelisfedup · 30/10/2020 18:42

So sorry @LuluF91. Flowers

LuluF91 · 30/10/2020 20:30

:( thankyou. Very sad...not entirely surprised because that was just too lucky. Anyone know what I can do to stop a chemical pregnancy in the future?
