Roll up, roll up, it’s time for a new thread for the ladies who are experiencing the highs and lows (mainly the lows…) of coming off the pill and TTC! Here you’ll find stories of delayed ovulation, crazy long follicular phases, crazy short follicular phases, light AFs, short luteal phases, long luteal phases, confusing temp charts and blindingly white OPKs, to name a few. Thanks everyone! Tbh I’m so surprised. When trying to think about what my cycles were like the last time I can remember not being on the pill was about 6 years ago and my iron was so low my body basically just couldn’t do it 😂. I would have super long cycles and I ended up having to take special iron tablets 3 times a day!

@AMS19 I will try for twice a day on O day if I can get a peak if not every day I will be doing it from my fertile window 😂. My OH was actually away the weekend I was fertile last month so but I expected my cycle to be longer so I didn’t really bother with nagging him. Now I’m going to be a full nag 😂

Haha @sperr has to be done! I think my husband is secretly slightly disappointed we fell this morning as he had already geared himself up for my next fertile week. Although he was also complaining it clashes with the new PS5 being delivered 🙄🙄🙄

@Juno231 cellar is super creepy, I’ve never been down there especially seen as somebody on our road was converting thier cellar and found a skull 😬 the guy who changed our boiler said its huge but I can’t bring myself to go down there!

Eurgh day from hell today! And to top it off one of the gem/stone things has fallen out of my £200 kurt geiger boots! Had them less than 3 months and I would never normally spend that on shoes but I was eyeing them up for a loooong time! So disappointed

@chinchilly love the fireplace 😍 I am still in the process of decorating the living room in my house (pic also attached) and I will be putting in a restored fireplace and sanding the floors back. My job this weekend is to sand back the woodwork and paint it white 😑 its literally never ending!

@ams19 haha, my OH is very much looking forward to my fertile week... whenever that may be!

@Kay00 that’s going to look lovely once you are done! Oh gosh I HATED sanding woodwork ours had about 20 years worth of gloss build up! Good job OH’s friends were all willing to help and to be paid with pizza and beers 😂

@Juno231 awesome thanks for that ☺️ We put tiles down in our hallway and in our fireplaces, probably up there with my favourite things in the house so well worth it 😀

Evening ladies! I'm officially done adulting today. Emergency visit to the vet this evening as pupper busted a claw. We are both cooried on the couch watching the queens corgi.

@crabette certainly won't be going back on the pill!

@MintGreenLife he is absolutely fine now, thank you. They took the claw off and he's had doggy calpol. This was the look I got when the vet nurse brought him back out to the car. Due to COVID there are no humans allowed in the practice just now

@mrsmacmc ohhh what a little poppet 💕 God I would find that heart breaking having to send mine in and wait outside 😩 Not that she'd be bothered as she loves the vets 😂 Hope he will be feeling much better tomorrow xx

@mrsmacmc ahh sorry to hear about pupper, mine has been to the vet today aswell, a bandaged up paw later 🙄 it difficult sending them in without you, mine tries to get back into the car!

@AMS19 I said to my OH tonight if We do it everyday when I’m fertile we don’t have to do it all month 😂. I think I’ve convinced him.

I don’t want to tell him about the OPK if I get a peak so I’ll have to find a way to convince him I know naturallywhich I kinda do with EWCM. Luckily I only had 3 days of it before Ovulation last month

@Sperr I never told my husband about my peak, when I told him the day later "by the way I ovulated yesterday" his response was "oh so that is why you wanted sex at lunchtime as well as night, I thought it was just because you couldn't keep your hands off me." Haha! Bless. What helped is coming off the pill my libido was through the roof so we were having sex a lot more anyway!
I think cramming it then having a break is a great compromise! Worked for us!

How is everyone today? I've lost my positivity for this cycle a little today as I've had a little EWCM. I'm 99% sure I ovulated on Thursday, and most cycles so far I've had a little EWCM for a few days after O, but yesterday didn't have any so was thinking that was a good sign. Feel like EWCM after O must sugguest estrogen dominance. Also my temps on 1DPO and 2DPO are the EXACT same as last cycle, which is weird. I guess only time will tell whether my LP has improved, was feeling hopeful for an extra few days 🤞🏼

I’m waiting for AF to start in full flow! I’ve just been spotting since yesterday. I just want it to come properly so I can say today is CD1

@mintgreenlife you might improve on your LP yet, don't get too despondent! Are you 3DPO?

@sperr how many DPO are you? Hoping you have had a decent LP, and if possible AF doesn't show at all xx

@Kay00 14dpo so it’s going well so far. (I’m now cycle day 29 since I haven’t got a proper flow yet. I started spotting yesterday but nothing that’s warranted the use of a tampon just a panty liner so far and I probably don’t even need that it’s more just when I wipe. I don’t normally spot for this long (normally it’s less than a day!) but I’m just grateful I don’t have a long cycle! I’m keen to just get started on the next cycle though 😂

@Kay00 thanks, I really hope so! Only 2DPO. CD7 is a tough place to be. Here's hoping you ovulate earlier this cycle ☺️

@MintGreenLife fingers crossed for you this cycle, let's make this happen. I'm 3 DPO and feeling rather defeated so I'm with you ❤️

@MintGreenLife I actually find us being cycle buddies scary in case your LP is short again as I don't want you inevitably comparing it :( that should be reserved for random bitches 😂
