Roll up, roll up, it’s time for a new thread for the ladies who are experiencing the highs and lows (mainly the lows…) of coming off the pill and TTC! Here you’ll find stories of delayed ovulation, crazy long follicular phases, crazy short follicular phases, light AFs, short luteal phases, long luteal phases, confusing temp charts and blindingly white OPKs, to name a few. This our 4th thread (I think!) and we've had a few ladies get their BFP recently which is so exciting! Join us, won’t you?

I’ve only had one proper cycle since so far as came off the pill in August

@Kay00 🤞🤞🤞 I didnt realise b vitamins helped extend LP. Maybe I should be taking them 🤔 is it specific B vitamins? I'm just taking pregnacare at the moment... when are you planning to test? I'm also 7DPO

@Tillybabs this is my 2nd cycle but first "proper" cycle if you exclude the one straight off the pill pre my first proper period

@Kay00 praying mine goes the same way as yours! Although I stopped taking the high dose B6 over a week ago now and no sign of ovulation yet xx

@Kay00 I've also had longer cycles since coming off, I've been off for the same amount of time as you. I was always long anyway but they seem to be a few extra days added on each time, it's highly frustrating!!

@AMS19 it might be worth waiting longer to see if your LP extends naturally (as they are often short after coming off the pill it seems), but I didn't do that lol... from my 3rd cycle I took a B Complex vitamin with 100mg B6 and 500ug of B12 plus whatever is in my pre-pregnancy multivitamin.

@MintGreenLife @musicaljojo yes, the long cycles are extremely frustrating... I feel like I have to wait so much longer than anyone else for my TWW! I Ov'ed this cycle on CD35, although my body started trying on CD22

My first proper cycle was 34 days. Will see what this one brings!

I will start taking the vitamins too I think

@Kay00 interesting. I think I'll just start taking some as I happen to have b complex vitamins at home. Can't do any harm, right?!

@Kay00 I'm in the exact same boat, my earliest ovulation so far in 7 months was CD25, and latest CD40! And all that wait and then a short LP is just heartbreaking.

TMI Post ladies, just changed my tampon from this morning, literally hardly anything on there one brown streak and one tiny red streak looks like it was mixed in with CM (not that i examined it 😳 obvs did 😂)

My last AF was light, so now seriously wondering if my body is making enough uterine lining 🙄

@AMS19 no, I don't think their are any side effects (other than the luminous pee)! But I read somewhere that it can delay ovulation so I stop staking mine around CD and start up again after Ov. That wonder a treat in my last cycle when I ovulated on CD18 but didn't help a all this cycle when I Ov on CD35! Some women just take the B Complex all the way through.

Thanks @Kay00 really helpful. Realised the ones I had were out of date so will order for next cycle and do EPO pre ovulation, and vitamin B post ovulation, and pregnacare throughout! I feel like I could open my own pharmacy at this rate 😂😂

@ChinChilly I would say you're not totally out then. When did you last test?

@AMS19 I last tested yesterday morning, obviously was negative 😂

My RHR has taken a nose dive though so I think it is AF I just don’t understand why it is so light 🤔

Hey ladies... long time no speak. Sorry for disappearing - I just got a bit lost in my own head for a while with the conflict between our repeatedly cancelled weddings, and TTC, and not knowing what to do first. (Plus DP got super depressed and completely lost his libido, which didn't exactly help on the TTC front :( )

Anyway... CONGRATULATIONS for the BFP's I missed!! I'm looking at you @TheDaydreamBelievers!

I'm now on cycle 1 of "properly" TTC, having stopped pill in July. I was kind of seeing what happened before now, and tracking, but being a bit more cautious around ovulation just incase I needed to fit into a dress. Whereas for this cycle, I was lying with a cushion under my butt post DTD Still super super light periods and short LF, so not holding out much in the way of hope, but we'll see!

3DPO according to my app, though no LH surge that I could find despite testing every day. And AF due in a week... @Kay00, thanks for the tips on the B vitamins, I'll definitely give this a look.

@crabette Welcome to your first official TWW! Sorry to hear about your repeated cancelled weddings, it must have been a huge stress for you and your DP

A bit concerned at my short luteal, but see what happens! I'm already far too impatient for TWWs lol - even short ones!

@Tillybabs I'm 14 months off the pill now I think (Sep '19). Cycle 11 TTC though.

@ChinChilly sorry I've been a bit absent, just been swamped with the house move. Back to work tomorrow though and it's stressing me out massively, even been up at night about it because I'm behind on deadlines...

Got OHs SA results back today and his swimmers are all perfectly normal. He had very elevated round cells (no clue), which a quick Google tells me could be a sign of infection but the gp never said anything about it.

Woohoo nice strong OPK test tonight. BD last night and same again tonight! Was slightly concerned as it's later than it's been - better late than never I suppose! CD13 ❤️

@Juno231 how did the move go? Great news on the SA!! Really pleased

@mrsmacmc thats a great looking OPk! Do you track temps too? If so, fingers crossed for a rise. Then welcome to the TWW club
