Clearblue Ovulation Test

Hi,

So I'm currently TTC, and I've just started using the Clearblue Ovulation Test, the connected one you use with the app.

According to the app, and to Clue I'm not expected to ovulate until late next week. AF was on 13th October, and my last cycle was 36 days (usually about 33/34). I only started to use the ovulation test early to try and get used to it and into the habit and shocked to see it saying high fertility day yesterday and today (cycle day 13/14), so going to keep testing to see if the peak shows.

Just wondering, has anyone else ever started using these and found they ovulate much earlier than the apps predict? Has worried me slightly, as due to length of cycle, this seems slightly early. But still trying to get my head around it all, so if anyone has any experience of the same thing that'd be good! Thanks Smile

Hey! Exact same thing for me. I think it freaks out about your cycle - I got high fertility every day from my second test, then got Peak at CD18 and ovulated on CD19 (so actually quite late!). So I got High for 12 days prior to peak. Don’t worry just keep testing and maybe move to two tests a day when you think you’re close. For example, I got high in the morning on CD18 and Peak in the afternoon (maybe 4pm). Good luck!

Thanks for your reply!

Oh that's interesting, I didn't actually ever think of testing more than once in a day. I thought it was just your morning urine that you used.

Good to know it's happened someone else. Still trying to get my head around it all! And was just a shock to see it say High fertility already, so was doubting it. But I'll keep going and see what happens. I've heard before that the apps aren't the most accurate anyway!
