Ewcm after ovulation?

Hi ladies just wondering if anyone could shed some light for me 🤯🤯

I got a high result on my opks last Friday but by Saturday afternoon it had gone back down to low so assuming I missed my peak. And I had ewcm on the Monday and none since.

So assuming I’m now either 6 or 7 dpo, I’m super confused why I’m now having large amounts of ewcm today. Is this a bad sign? I’m at work so unable to do another opk but could it of been a failed ovulation last week? Is that even a thing 🤯

I get this every month. EWCM around ovulation and then a few days without and then some more EWCM. I believe it's because of the second oestrogen spike which you get a few days after O. Oestrogen causes EWCM to appear. I think this is pretty common
If your first few days of EWCM tied in with when you expected to O (as well as your OPK result) I'd assume you did O when you think and that the second period of EWCM was the second oestrogen spike x

@HerringGull I took an opk earlier and got a peak. Going to assume I never ovulated the first time round!
