Is this a positive??

Hello I've done this test I was due on today I've had bad pains but not bleeding yet so done a test the faint second line came up about 2-3 after I tested? Anyone else had this

I don't want to get excited as I know you can get evaporation lines?

Looks positive to me. Can you get a FRER?

So I'm new to this what does a FRER mean? 🙈

First response early result test. They are good for early testing so if your period is late it should give a clear result

Ohh okay thank you I will pop and get a better test tomorrow. I'm just confused as the line didn't come up straight away? The test line did but then 2-3 minutes later that one did also I was convinced I was coming on as I have all the usual pains x

I can see a line! These tests take 3 minutes to show the result 🙂

Oh really? I'm just so convinced I'm coming on my period as I have all the aches and pains! I don't want to get my hopes up 🤷‍♀️

I was convinced I was getting my period and when it was 4 days late I thought I better test. It was a clear positive

I got period pains for the first 8 weeks pretty much of my pregnancy

I have 2 daughters but don't remember the pains but I've only had really bad period pains as I've got older. I really don't know what to think it's driving me crazy 😜

I could see that second line on my phone without even making the photo bigger! Clear positive!

Ok I think I'm going to wait a few days to see if my period comes or not then do another test maybe I'll get a better positive xx

Does it matter that it took a few minutes to show up? And that it didn't show straight away? X

I also had all the signs of my period coming, the cramps, the aches, everything! but it never started, I didn’t think I’d be pregnant for this very reason...5 days later I tested as I thought it was a little odd and it was positive & I'm now 35 weeks :-)

I think I would believe it more if the line came up straight away? I'm so confused I have no idea what to do I'm still convinced I'm coming on. This is my third pregnancy and don't remember being so impatient before. That's great news hope everything goes well. I will keep posted xx

I did one of these tests and mine took a good few minutes to show up, next morning I had a wee and a very strong second line!!!

I keep reading about evaporation lines would anyone say this is a evaporation line or a faint positive?? I'm so confused 🤷‍♀️

Looks positive to me too.
I used one of the same tests the day or 2 before I was due on and it was loads lighter than that, so pale I sent a pic to a support thread saying I'm out this month- a friend said there's a faint line and there was! I was pregnant and got the darker tests about 3 days later.

Def get a better test.

@MrsP2015 I'm Starting to think I'm not as done another test and the line took ages to come up so definitely more of an evaporation line I think. 😓 I won't be using these tests again I've had some hope that I was now it's completely gone 🙁

The instructions say to read the test around 3-5 minutes in so it’s perfectly normal for the line not to appear straight away. Plus if you’re getting the same result on 2 tests in the same time frame I would say it was positive.
Get yourself an FRER as PP have said to put your mind at rest.

Yes I will get a better test today hopefully. These are the test I've done I have just read that evaporation lines won't show the colour pink it will just be grey I think I can definitely see the colour pink in these but obviously some have been left to darken longer

They're positives. I would think it'd be pretty unusual to get all 3 with evaporation lines.
Also totally normal for the line not to come up straight away and only appear after a few minutes.
I think you're pregnant.

@Bezzi so you think? I'm just so anxious about it and don't want to why my hopes up. There was actually 4 tests all with pink lines. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow so maybe I'll do a test down there x
