Hi just after a bit of advice really. I'm considering contacting my GP but don't want to if I'm being silly as they do tend to make you feel like you're being paranoid! It's also been less than 12 months since TTC which is the usual point to speak to your doctor.

We have been TTC since January however I didn't ovulate til April. My first cycle was 30 days and every month without fail it has been longer. I'm currently at 37 days and counting (not pregnant Sad)

My periods are also getting shorter, my last one only lasted 2 days whereas they used to be 5 or 6. A couple of months ago it was literally one day of heavy bleeding and then nothing. I'm also finding them increasingly painful and feel very sick and dizzy for days leading up to it. On the day of my period I have found out it's coming the last 3 months as it's made me physically vomit.

We are both 26yo and have no previous pregnancies with each other or anyone else.

Not sure if this is 'getting used to being off the pill' or I have actual cause for concern!

I have been kind of similar. Came off pill in April and since then I get maybe 4-6 hours of heavy bleeding then just spotting a few days before and after. I am getting positive OPKs at day 14 each month but the few days before AF I feel so sick all the time. Go off foods and feel that I’m pregnant every singe month just to be disappointed. So frustrating. No answers but wishing you luck x

Hi @rathernotshare sorry to hear what your been going through. I would definitely contact your GP. If you are feeling sick and dizzy then you need to be checked out fir your own health - let alone the getting pregnant. Certainly periods can be irregular coming off the pill but you have other symptoms too.

It’s completely ok to go see your gp, they are the only ones who can really tell you if there is cause for concern. If nothing else it will put your mind at ease and if it is something then you can get info and address it.

In the mean time sending kind thoughts 😊
