Am I ovulating?

Apologies in advance for my stupidity.. I’ve decided to start tracking ovulation as of today after a conversation with a friend of mine.

The instructions don’t really make any sense. I think I’m ovulating today (lots of ewm) - can you tell based on this test?

I understand it’s a fail if no line shows but it also said something about a pale line meaning nothing special too.

Is the line supposed to get a lot darker than this if I am ovulating?

I use the Premom app and here's my line progression! :)

One month I ovulated CD14, last month CD21 and this month will either been CD20 or CD21!

The test line should be as dark or darker than the control line

Until we decided to start trying, I honestly had no clue about cycles which is shameful as a 27 year old women! I thought you just had a period every month and that was that! Nothing about ovulation and I'm sure I've never rboticed ovulation pain, sore boobs etc before we decided to try! It's a lot to get our head around isn't it 😖

So strange, the app suggests it’s high and I’m ovulating today based on my cycle, but it’s definitely not as dark as the test line. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see

@DarcieS not sure if it makes a difference but I have to scan my tests into premom the other way around, with the control on the right and test line on the left...

Ahh yes that would make sense - I’ve reloaded it the other way around and now it’s low. Thank you! I’m glad I started this thread warning of my stupidity 😅
I wonder if I’ve just missed ovulation, hence the ewm. I’ll try again tomorrow and see what direction it’s going in. Thanks everyone!

@DarcieS not stupid at all, it is all very confusing! I'm no expert but I would say EWCM means ovulation is still to come, so keep testing, maybe twice a day in case you peak quickly. Good luck!

Hello, so I started on letrozole 7.5mg this pass week, with plans to do Iui this upcoming week. I have PCOS and my cycles are all over the place. I have been doing opks started on day 8 of cycle and having getting negatives until cycle day 11 I believe it is positive :-/ I’m kind of unsure… I will leave a picture below and you ladies let me know if it’s positive. my appointment to do my ultrasound is sept 6 which is technically cycle day 13 for me the office is close Monday for Labor Day :( but I think I’m ovulating now and will actually miss my day for iui…. Feeling a little discouraged of course my husband and I will try Time intercourse
